I have had the iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro 9.7 for 18 months and I finally am replacing that with the 10.5. I have tried the 12.9 but that device works for those people who dont like to have macbooks or laptops to lug around. I am not an artist, I like reading books on the iPad. I also watch occasional films. When we travel, I like to take the iPad and leave my Macbook back. Guaranteed there are drawbacks of doing so but for most cases an iPad Pro is a good replacement for the Macbook.The following are the differences between this model and the 9.7 pro…a) The display area has increased from 9.7 to 10.5 and it fits the screen perfectly. The screen looks more immersive when you watch videos on youtube. Also you can now choose 1440p option for video playback.b) This is a 120HZ iPad. That means when you are navigating through the menu, you will notice an ever so slight swiftness. This is not an essential feature but it is good to have.c) The 9.7 iPad had great speakers. The 10.5 have somehow made them even louder, more wholesome, more bassy than ever. The one thing I have got to like about Apple is how their speakers never hurt your ear at full volume. This outrageously good implementation of the sound makes this a winner feature. You can truly say that the sound is comparable to the one on my Macbook Late 2016. Very impressive.d) Battery life remains as good as ever but if you look at the specifics of it. 7306 mAh on the ipad pro 9.7 versus 8134 mAh. Undoubtedly this is one of the best battery performances if not the best battery performance yet of any iPad.e) The camera is markedly improved. I used my ipad pro 9.7 very often. Especially when we were traveling. You never know when you see something worth capturing. The iPhone 7 camera is fantastic and it has been a welcome addition to the iPad Pro 10.5. If any of you own an Android, having this iPad will complement the kind of photos you can take as images are sharp, real, beautiful. Selfie images are very good too and form for good memories.f) The display has improved by 10%. The brightness has improved too. This is not a deal-maker feature but it is an improvement.CONSThe 10.5 feels bigger in my hand and it will take me time to get used to the extra size. I don’t know why they decided to introduce a new size in the market for it. Maybe it was to seperate the unit from looking like an iPad 2017 (9.7 inches also) but it does make Apple look sloppy and unable to make their mind up. Also it makes them look greedy since they want to have a new size that die-hard iPad fans like myself would like to have. Additionally, though they have made processor upgrades, i felt the 9.7 iPad Pro never needed such an upgrade as it was satisfactory for all needs I put it through.Who should buy this? Though I replaced my 9.7 iPad Pro with the 10.5 — I am not entirely sure if this was a worthwhile upgrade. I trust Apple with iPads because they have never disappointed me a single time and in due course of time, I have learned more and more reasons to keep upgrading without fail. I sold my iPad Pro 9.7 to a friend and with the replacement money purchased this iPAD 10.5.CONCLUSION THOUGH? I miss my 9.7 iPad even after 45 days of using this. Somehow I find this difficult to hold. Its kind of heavy too. The 9.7 was the perfect fit. God forbid you have one of those folding flip cases. You are not in luck then. What am I gonna do? I'm gonna buy an Apple case and the keyboard to see if that improves my experience.

It’s very fast and you’ll easily be able to use this iPad happily for 3 years, as even today very few apps can take advantage of the sheer horsepower on offer.- The screen has a 120hz laminated display with a response time of 20ms, which seems like just numbers, but believe me, when you begin to use this and notice the difference, you’ll never be able to go back to a 60hz pannel. Its just that smooth, fluid and snappy! It genuinely spoils you! The true tone display changes the temperature of the screen to warmer or cooler shades depending on the ambient or surrounding lighting, whic makes long hours of viewing far less straining on the eyes. It can be disabled for those needing the device for colour accurate work, so no worries there. The display is laminated which is new to me since i upgraded from the iPad air 1, and it basically means the screen appears closer to the finger when touching it .- The speakers are phenomenal. They’re as good as MacBook speakers, and have a good amount of bass for such a device, and are clear on the high notes. Again a massive improvement over older iPads. No distortion even on the highest volume. The iPad also has a headphone jack in case people still want to use it.- Software and UI. Upgrade to iOS 11 the moment you get it! It elevates the experience all together, and makes multitasking a breeze.- size - 10.5 inches makes this slightly larger than the 9.7, noticeable even and far more convenient than the full sized 12.9. Makes for a great device in terms of portability and bed time use!- battery life is good and a advertised, easily lasts for 10 hours, and with moderate use even for 2-3 days as the standby time is excelllent!Over all i must say i have no complaints for what it is and what i use this for.The bad - I got this for 48,800 and even though i was to get a cashback because of some offer, I didn’t. If you go out in the market, even the official apple sellers are giving discounts of up to 5k meaning you can get the same model for about 46,500. So i feel a little let down, but again its not as convenient as amazon and I’m just so happy with the device that i let this go. Get it regardless of the price :/Wish apple introduced this in Matt black, but this is just fine too. I’ll put a skin on it.General Stuff- I upgraded from the iPad Air 1 and found the jump to this to be amazing (night and day difference)! I did not buy an Apple Pencil or the Smart Keyboard as i use a Microsoft Wedge keyboard . The regular Bluetooth magic keyboard or any Bluetooth keyboard does work just fine. Be sure to learn all the keyboard shortcuts, as iOS 11 makes this device truly a great laptop replacement for everyday tasks like Email, Facebook, Reading comics,books,magazines, medical journals etc, and even for listening to music, watching things on Netflix or amazon video. I did put a tempered glass and a back cover for added protection. It’s a great investment and you wont regret it!

The iPad Pro and the pencil is an unbeatable combo. It has rekindled an age old activity of sketching. We have a natural tendency to think with the pen in hand. This helps. With the screen unseen on any tablets the render of pen strokes are silken. This is a device which is made for you if you have a creative streak. Definitely fast and as iPads are, this one too is my constant companion.

First of All Thanks Flipkart for such a Wonderful price for a Beast Like This. This is my first Apple product. I must tell you the price I paid is complete justice. Every vertical has been completely justified by this. Speed, Display, Touch, Battery and specially sound is awesome. Viewing things on Laptop is always makes you feel good but on this it's awesome. Overall it's worth every penny I paid. It's on 2017 but still fails every model of 2018. Just Go For It !!

product is Good but don't buy it if you really don't need it. after a week you really start realising that you don't need to but such a expensive tablet. any apple ipad costing around 25k can satisfy your tablet need..also windows users will never find its file saving method and opening method better than windows itself. Anyway Apple needs to simplify it's UI. they must take reference from windows for doing it like android. Apple pencil works fine on the pad. Thanks.
