Worst router I had ever used.

I live in a 5 bedroom house. The existing router was not able to cover all the 3 floors hence I purchased this product. The problem with this product is every 2 minutes I have to reconnect my to the wireless network. I was watching a 20 minutes video on youtube. I had to reconnect 3 times in the 1st 5 minutes and I realized there is no point in watching the video without fixing the issue. I did a firm upgrade hoping that this problem will be solved but did not help at all. Never in the past I had this experience on any router. Since there is no return policy in India after opening the seal, I have to dump this product and be satisfied with the old one.
DON'T BUY NETGEAR PRODUCTS, QUALITY IS BAD,;-(
Good Performer

I bought this router to connect my desktop and all the smartphones and tablets at my home. Different devices (e.g. my tab and my wife's smartphone) show different speed and range at same distance hence can't say about how much actual coverage provided. But it covers my entire house (~950 sq. feet) so no complaint about that. Also, the range is highly dependent on number of walls in-between and their thickness. To give you an idea, my tab displays low range at 18-20 feet with three walls in-between for 5 GHz band. My connection doesn't get dropped as many people have mentioned here. I'll say the culprit may be the driver or device you are using to connect to the router.
Firmware update is readily available. I've already tried 'Guest Network' and MAC address reservation (for my desktop, so it can act as a shared box). Need to try other features.

Have frequent internet loss even on LAN. Not recommended.
Dont buy this. Atleast get a low end router which is very good than this.

Was expecting more since it is a high end device. When it said 'for large homes' I thought it would suffice but found out that network was patchy in some places. I have an Apple TV located one floor up and it doesn't receive the signal even though it is a distance of about 35-40 feet. Otherwise it performs as expected. Good buy nevertheless.
Worth the money

This router is very light weight and looks very trendy. Technical specifications like Beamforming provides an excellent coverage inside my 2 BHK (1100 square ft) flat. There is no wall mounting option available though.
