Problematic

Frequent Signal Dropping

It is a good product. But the signal keeps on dropping. I got it change twice from the service center. Still each of it showed same problem. I even changed my internet service provider. But still problem persists. The reason is network clogging. As there are too much routers in my vicinity which operates on 2.4 GHz frequency. This router is not able to switch the channel and hence it drops the signal. My suggestion is to go for dual band routers.

this is a router not a modem

The product is good no doubt, But all you who want to buy this first make sure you know the difference between router and modem. this is not a modem. Modem means which convert your landline connection into internet connection and sends it though LAN or WiFi to your device (ADSL) But this is not useful for the above purpose. So be sure you want Modem Or Router. The given one star rating is not for the product.

This Modem cum router is under rated on amazon.Its the best modem in its range with 3g dongle support.Its available for Rs 1900 easily in local shops.I personally gone with this router as it have 3 years warranty plus its service centre are in every indian city.DONT GO FOR DLINK PRODUCTS THERE AFTER SALES SERVICE ARE WORST AND THE WEBSITE HAVING DETAILS ABOUT THE SERVICE CENTRES ARE TOTALLY WRONG.

The iBall N-Router is equipped with a Built-in-Firewall with SPI Capabilities with IP address filtering, and Denial of Service (DoS) protection that enhances the security giving you the freedom to browse without any worry

The iBall Router is designed to be lightweight so it can be easily mounted on the wall and the horizontal square form allows the router to be placed comfortably on the table. The front panel has 6 LED indicators signaling the power status, system status, 4 LAN port indicators, one WAM and WPS status indicator. The rear panel is also provided with a WPS push button for instant set up of Wi-Fi connection.

The iBall router offers a speed of 300 Mbps allowing you to access internet from any corner giving you full connectivity. Compatible with IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0) standards, the router akso has integrated  major security encryption protocols like WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and 64, 128, 152-bit WEP.
