The product arrived 3 days after I placed the order. It was properly packed and the box included all the accessories - Power adapter, Cat5 RJ45 cable, RJ11 cable, software cd and manual. It is a shiny black and looks sleek and stylish. It is also much smaller and slimmer than most routers. The 4 LAN ports and 1 WAN port are standard on ADSL routers. The power adapter is rated at 5 Volts, and can be replaced with a generic charger if it fails. The provided cables are of good quality. The LED indicators on the front are standard - Power, ADSL, Internet, 4 for LAN, 1 for WLAN and 1 for WPS. The WPS button is at the back, and on the underside, it has slots for wall mounting. Its two antennas ensure that the signal strength is enough to maintain a stable connection with devices across multiple walls in a 2000 square feet flat, plus two floors above and below, at full speed. Beyond this, speed and stability begin to suffer, as in the case with omnidirectional antennas. On the other hand, in case one is concerned about unauthorized people attempting to use the signal, the router provides the option to reduce signal strength to 20, 40, 60 and 80%. Setting up the router is extremely easy. Rather than expecting us to search through dozens of pages of completely incomprehensible settings, Belkin has provided a configuration wizard on the web interface. This takes the essential settings needed to set up the connection, and leaves us to fine tune it at our convenience. The same setup can be done with the software provided on the CD. I use it with an MTNL (Mumbai) connection, and it took me less than 5 minutes to be able to access the internet. The software of the router includes all the standard features, plus a few extras. Most users, however, will not be needing these, if they only intend to surf the net. Admins may find these useful. Features wise, this is a definite improvement over the generic routers provided by the ISP. The web interface is clean looking and well organized. Two features that I personally find useful is Static IP via MAC binding, and built in DynDNS support. Admins will also find the ability to block whole classes of software, and URL blocking useful. The only con is the lack of a USB port. But unless one absolutely needs to place a device like a printer or a hard disk on the network for some reason, instead of connecting it through a PC, this is no big loss. Being able to connect a 3G dongle and use the router as a wireless hotspot may be useful, but even devices with a USB port support only a few models. For me however, having 802.11n was more important, as I have a large home network, with a lot of media streaming and gaming going on in between different devices. The network performance is more than sufficient to support these activities simultaneously without any hint of lag. All in all, this is a worthwhile purchase.

I bought this modem approximately 3 months back and since then I have been struggling to have this connect to more than one device. The range is also pathetic. But worst of all, the modem I have carries a model number F9J1005 V1. This is an outdated and unsupported model and is not found in the US and UK sites of Belkin. There is no firmware available for an upgrade. In all, I feel cheated by flipkart for selling an outdated modem more than Belkin for not supporting it. Selling of products whose support has long been withdrawn borders on fraud and I did not expect this with Flipkart.

I gone for this model as it claiming to support 802.11 n, unfortunately even-if you configure n standard it works only in g standard. I have serious range problem because of this. There are seriously good Network routers in Markert, which works fine with 802.11n standard, please go for it. Belkin may be having a deal with flipkart to provide sub standard products, that why you are getting for a low price

I was using Belkin wireless G router, it worked perfectly fine for over five years. When it ran out of its life I thought I would replace with another model N150 from Belkin as the same model was not available any more. But what a horrible experience it has been. I have a duplex house but not on too big site so distance from router to any point in my house is not more 10 mt. But Wifi signal is good only for few feet when I am directly in line of sight. The moment I go in bedroom, signal strength drops to over 50 dB and I get -90 dB signal.I even replaced with N300 model but exactly same behavior. So it is not problem with just my piece rather it is design flaw. They have too less power emitted from their routers. Also they don't mention any rating on their box. When I tried customer call, it was sheer waste of time. he could not even explain why in the same house G model working but not N150 or N300.
