I researched little bit before purchasing this router,but was sure to buy a D-link product and zeroed in to N300.
Reason:
If you have more than two users and above 4 to 5 devices(includes Tabs,Phones,Laptops etc) to connect to the Wi-fi ,Also want to get better connectivity within 3/4 rooms then go for it.
No reduction in the wi-fi speed.

Got this affordable router couple of days back...it delivers exceptional WiFi range. i get WiFi coverage in every nook and corner of my duplex home even when the doors are closed ...the only drawback is that it doesn't come with a power switch...hey who needs it anyways when you can easily reboot it from the router page without even getting up;) the router drops connection sometimes and this happens once in two days or so (can be the problem of ISP)...overall very good product:)
Brilliant device with a decent price if you are using any cable BROADBAND(tikona,local cable broadband that do not require a telephone line)

I ordered the product and got it delivered the next day. There are many reviews against Dlink 2750U but no reviews against DIR-615 so thought of writing this review.
Technically, 2750U is for Telephone line broadbands like bsnl,mtnl,airtel etc(bcoz it has RJ11 port for WAN link) and DIR-615 is for Cable line broadbands(as it has RJ45 port for WAN link).
DIR-615 is highly recommended for people using any local cable broadband, tikona broadband(has RJ45 port for WAN) etc. I had previously used dlink 2750U model for my airtel telephone broadband(has RJ11 port for WAN) where it worked perfectly fine but later I switched to Tikona and then Coconet(local cable broadband).Both Tikona and Coconet, 2750U model was not working as it lacks RJ45 port). There is certainly a workaround to make 2750U work(by converting one LAN port to WAN port for RJ45 connection) with Cable broadbands but that way it neither works properly(since its unofficial,the workaround results in disconnection of your internet many times a day) nor it is officially recommended.
I have been using DIR-615 from past few days and the experience is awesome.I have connected it with 2 smartphones and 2 laptops using its wifi in my house.It has very good wifi range,the connection is steady and has no disconnection and no heating issue at all.

I have bought this product in a hurry since I can get it delivered within a day with flipkart first. There was only 1 in stock and I was just in time in grabbing the opportunity. The range is fabulous and passes through more than 3 doors into my cabin. Am pleasantly surprised at the ease of use of the interface. The dual antenna coverage is really good. I am currently using it with ACT Broadband.

This router is not a good option if you are on Act broadband (or any other PPPoE based connections). And it cost me quite an amount to realize this.I was never able to get the internet connection to work using PPPoE. My broadband password length is 6 characters and every time I open the settings page the password is defaulted to 8 characters (********). I had to set it in DHCP Client mode and then login on ACT portal every time I power on the router.Also, the DHCP Static IP Configuration setting (DHCP Reservation) is not very good as it does not allow to set any IP that we want as it is restricted to the IP pool range and it does not allow us to select the device but instead enter the IP and MAC manually.I had an older 150 mbps D-Link DIR-615 router that I bought in the US 10 years ago which I wanted to replace with this one as the wifi antennas were damaged and that device is working far better than this new one.And there is no return policy on this item except replacement so do not buy this router if you want to connect using PPPoE.The TP-Link router is a better alternative than this and it costs less too.
No issues But range not much better than DIR 600M

I didn't have any issues with the connection. But the range compared to my Dlink Dir 600M was not that better. Placed the router on the 1st floor in a room to the left of the stairs. Got good signal in the room below and terrace on the left but whenever i crossed the stairs and went to the right room below or on the right terrace the signal dropped drastically. Although i was still getting high internet speed (20-21 Mbps from my 25 Mbps connection)
Faulty out of the box

I ordered for this router after my previous machine failed beyond warranty. Right from day one I was not able to get wi-fi to work. Internet connection by cable to PC was working but even there, there were issues. For a long time I was wondering if it is a configuration issue as I was not expecting a brand new router to fail, and it was not easy to get an expert opinion to confirm the cause of the fault. Finally after repeated visits from my ISP technician it was confirmed that the router is defective on arrival. Sadly the Amazon return window was closed by then, now I'll have to take it up with the D-link service center.
Great support from Amazon and Dlink to help me buy the right product for my BSNL broadband.

Thanks to DLink too fir honouring this transaction.I am a fan of DLink products, but this one did not work on BSNL because it was not meant for it. Baught it by mistake because it was not documented accurately. This product should be great for it's purpose.
