This phone is really a treat for smartphone lovers..The display is cool.And Xolo Cameras are always cool.I'm not going to write review about the specs as everything is clearly mentioned on Flipkart..
Some random dude wrote a review saying the phone has 1800mAh battery..He says the phone sucks just because of the battery.He also mentioned that the phone is Full HD display..FYI,This phone is not Full HD but it is WXGA(1280*720)..Full HD is 1920*1080..
Let me come to the point>>He calls this phone useless because it has 1800mAh battery..Do you know that iPhone 5s has only 1560mAh battery?Do you know that?And don't tell me that iPhone 5s is dual core and it consumes less power.iPhone 5s SoC is built on x64 architecture which makes the phone fastest on benchmark,even being a dual core(Yes,It is faster than phones having snapdragon 800)..Why i told this is to prove that it consumes more power..
Now,coming to Xolo Q900,It's processor is built on Cortex A7 architecture which is proven to be the most power efficient architecture by ARM..So,It comparatively consumes less power than other quad core processors..I don't think this battery is bad enough..Don't listen to these kind of guys who just write reviews based on what they see on the screen.Please vote up my review and make it stay on top..

1. DISPLAY-->
Super clear HD(1280x720) and crispy sharp screen with true vivid colours.Touch is very smooth(better than Q800 nd cnvs HD). Its claimed as Retina DIsplay(312ppi) which is far better than MMX and viewing angles are decent though. Under sun screen visibility Ok. Dot Matrix is visible on screen with white backgrnds but its common nowadays.
2.Performance.
Being a quadcore Ui is lag Free and game play is also smooth. 1 gb ram is sufficient (u'll get ~600 mb free). I tried GTA vice City and dead trigger all are running buttery smooth. UI sumtimes hangs ~1sec( cz i installed too many apps).
3. Software
Q900 comes with 4.2.2 JB, which is fast and smoother. Many preinstalled apps Xolo secure, Power and care. u can disable them in settings>apps.
4.Camera
xolo is famous for its cameras. and here q900 has 8mp with bsi sensor very gud pics in daylight and also in night(set ISO to 1600 for better pics in night). HDR mode pics are too gud. Colours are original and vivid. Size of Photo ~3mb
it allows u to record 1080p @30fps with greatt quality but format of vdo is .3gp :(
5. Battery
Sum users may disappoint due to 1800mah battery. But ull get enough juice for daily usage.
after full charge it may last upto ~4.30 hrs not bad. Battery drops frm 100%to 5 after 2hrs of gaming, 1/2hr of calls, 1hr of 3g,wifi , 1hr of vdos, . :D. but HD screen drains battery fast.
Here are tweaks For q900 by me.
a) Install DU battery save pro. It provides healthy charge(2.5hr to full chrge.) and last whole day with moderate usage.
4hr f games continously or 6 hrs of vdo playback when fully charged.
b)kepp brightness 20% and set DARK wallpapers( it really works)
USE SONY POWER BANK CP-V3 portable charger which provides extra juice to phone. easy to carry, small size.
Its of 2800mah means it cn chrge ur phone 1.5times. Jus plug n play and cost u around 1K.
then ull get 1800+2800=4600mah unlimited fun :D :D
-> apps movable to sd card.
->4.2.2 with more features.
->Modified UI ( Icon copied from Touchwiz :P)
->Data cable copy of apple and headphones r copy of lumia nokia.
->better build as phone drpped 2-3 times, nthing happened to phone.
-> BUy MATT screen Guard.
-> all sensors except gyro.
-> Install Poweramp music playr, Camera Zoom Fx, Clean Master, quickpic, avg antivirus, blackmart , dolphin browser, Mx player, Officesuite, Swifkey Keyboard( These are MUST HAVE apps).
->charge ph.when battry below 20% .
->with sony portable chrger, chrge ph when in pocket or when idle
I Bought headphones of sound magic(best) f Rs.550 and Matt screen Guard Rs100, Flip cover, Mem card 16gb Rs.600. and 2 yrs insurance Rs.1200

WHY
1- Bad camera quality its suck.
2- only 1800 mah battery, if u play some temple run or sabway surfer continues, its discharge in only 2 hours.
3- if u play some video or surfing its heat up quickly.
and last
4- retina display- yaar micromax waalo se kuch to sikho xolo q900 se best to mx pixel90s hai.

hello guys,this is my first review guys,after three days of usage,
# this phone is really fast and no lags at all.
# this phone has 1gb user internal memory that can be extended by a external memory card.
# its camera is as good as my dads samsung grand
# however the battery is on the downside when used by heavy gaming and wifi but it provides a average to good on a average day usage
# its headphones are not good so its wise to spend on a good pair of headphone (only fr music lunatics)
# the display is just wonderful no pixelation as seen in my old htc wildfire
# Xolo has a brilliant future ahead

I bought a XOLO Q900 on 22 may 2014 via Amazon.in…I approached the Xolo authorised service centre of Kottayam Dist ,Kerala state on 25 august 2014 due to touch screen problem of my phone…I’m very sad to inform you that the service executive at the centre behaved so rudly to me and denied to give the one year warranty of the phone, stating that there are some markings on the screws behind the phone and you have given it to some unauthorised service centre…He denied to give me the warranty and wrote on my job sheet that “unauthorised service detected and hence no warranty”…. Workorder number 310000691024 Xolo Q900 IMEI number 911331300250435 .I’ve never given my phone to any unauthorised service centre and never tried to open the screws behind the phone…The seal behind the phone is not broken …Yet the service executive denied to give me warranty and behaved to me so arrogantly.. I’m very sad to express the humiliation faced by me visiting the authorised service centre of XOLO at kottayam district of kerala state. The address of the above service centre is Electro World 360/A1, Challiyil Road, Behind Brindavanam Complex. Specs are OK, but...

The specs, as you can see, are pretty good for the price. However, the biggest gripe with this phone, and in fact with this brand on the whole, is that the handset is bound to require repairs/service within months of purchase. Don't know if they're defective when shipped to consumers, or if they're not tough enough to handle day to da use over a few months time, but I've yet to meet someone who hasn't had a problem in their xolo within the first 6 months. I've had to take this to the service centre twice in less than three months of owning it. Otherwise seems alright.
I can not imagine how bad this product is.

Bought this mobile on 27th March and received on 3 rd April from GadgetDirect via amazon. from the beginning dust particle was visible inside..which latter visible increased..try to return the product but it is already 33 days after placing order.Within 4 months the touch was not working, display flickering happens in some places of the screen. Submit the mobile to xolo-care (Technique Services) they are telling this will not cover by the warranty and charges INR. 1700/-, but when they returned the mobile the camera is not working and flickering increases they are telling this service center is will shut down and advise me to go any other service center as the it is some PCB (dont know what is that thing) related problem. After 6 months the wi-fi stopped working..after 8 months phone is switched off automatically..next month phone is unusable.. not able to make a call or receive a call. Visit a service center named infotel services..believe me this is one of the most ridiculous experience I ever had..1st the person is telling me the warranty is void because it is nearly expired..when I highlighted the billing date..minutes after he come from inside and telling me some parts are missing..I tell him to show me what parts is missing because it is previously serviced in xolocare only (show him the bill from xolocare)..then he again go inside and telling me the phone is exposed to moisture.. again he failed to show me that.The person is telling the moisture is not the reason for the malfunctioning of phone but for this the warranty is void. I ask for a written documents but refused. I am truly dishearten. I never expect such a faulty product from amazon!! (I am a customer of amazon even before it lunches in India ). I also had lunch a complain at xolo website last week but no feed back till now. Requesting amazon to react on the matter.
Battery gets heated up too much

Don't go for this mobile or may be i got a defective piece.Turn on the phone make few calls or start any app or play any game for like 10 mins and you'll find battery gets so heated up.also mobile drops you an alert to take out the battery and let cool it off.\After taking out batter for like 45 mins...you do the same as mentioned above. It again gets heated up.you can feel the backside of your mobile so warm.

"i purchased xolo q 900 mobile thru amazon.com. the item reced was defective,Highly disappointed,feeling sorry to make online shopping.Preparing to return the item..i have to return it since there is no option or replacement and no contact number provided anywhere on amazon site to talk it out... u HAVE to go thru the lengthy proce of writing to them and waiting for reply-its easier to return may b"... ordered on 13 apr... delivered to me on 15 apr.... v good service by amazon .... but piece defective....had to return on 23 apr....just... vo sat din....phone looks good, very smart looks...but the software could not be updated... it said... "aborted....authentication problems" and the alphabetical search in contact list did not worl... i mean if u touch "m" (any alphabet for that matter"the contacts starting with m will not be seen ob screen....i was really excited abt this phone but it turned out to be utter disappointment.....god knows if the piece was genuine or not.... anyways i have returned it... amazon service abt delivery and return pickup, is good.
