Great tripod from Vanguard. Best tripod in the market at the moment.

Steadiest build you can imagine for your DSLR equipment. Real solid feeling once set.
Other better feature of 264 than the 263 is it fits into your checkin luggage/suitcase.
This has 3 legs (and extensible 4 leg section) - clarifying this since it is confusing otherwise on the web/listing. The central piece gives a lot more flexibility in rotation and movement and tilt. SBH ballhead also is a good match to go with this for normal professional DSLR equipment. Comes with a travel tripod bag of decent quality.
Sand bag/weight bag at the bottom is not there in the package, though the box displays a picture.

Bought it from market after checking all the so called similar ones from manfrotto/benro ones.
This is clear winner, be it its finishing... or any other aspect. Yes it is expensive but fully worth it. There are detailed reviews in wesites like thewirecutter.com etc, where every aspect is detailed, hence not going to details.
Excellent tripod from Vanguard and appropriately priced

Well I checked every brand that's available in the market from manfrotto, Vanguard, Slik, Gitso and found this tripod has hebest combination of everything..Excellent built quality, a very good ball head that can bear upto 8KGs. Easily Holbs my 70-300mm F 4-5.6L telephoto lens + Canon 650D + Speedlite flash 430EXII.
The tripod has solid yet normal weight and can be carried easily because of the good quality tripod case. It extends out to a good 6 ft and when folded becomes quite compact.
The center column can be taken out and can be used to set the tripod very low close to the floor and is excellent for taking macro shots of small plants/flowers.
All in all I am extremely satisfied and can guarantee that there is no other tripod in this price range that can offer the features and quality of vanguard 264AT/AB100.
Don't go for a Bigger ball head as AB100 is just perfect for serious hobbyists.
I have seen reviews from Professional photographers for this tripod and they have been using this for their professional shoots for over a decade.

Love it. On time delivery. The ball head is smooth and robust. Maybe its AT that's why the weight is a bit heavy but the bag it comes with makes it easy to carry around. Shout out to the seller for delivering good product.
One of the best purchase ever made

Ordered it on 12th Jan'13 after searching and comparing similar products and after using it for nearly two years, I can say that this is one of the best tripods in this price range. Sturdy, rock solid... enough said, you can search for product reviews on YouTube or Google.
Just a word of advise, do not lose the quick release plate as it will set you back by another 1000 bucks or so.
Go ahead and purchase it with confidence

:) Light weight - easy to carry.
:) Tilt arm - can tilt and shoot as you want but need to add weight to keep the tripod straight.
:) Smooth Leg locks - easy to lock and release.
:) Rubber & Arrow heal - comfortable placements for various floors both indoor and outdoor.
:) Good rubber grip over the legs.
:) Ball head is easy to handle and got Angle Meter & Bubble Level as well
Cons
:( Since it is light you need to add weight to the arm hoke when arm is tilted.
:( Carry case would have been better.
Verdict : I got this Tripod for its Tilt Arm, but if you are not looking for that as the specific option, you got better tripods for the same price range. Its all based on your requirement.
