TVS printers are heavy duty printers. this one is with USB interface and drivers were perfectly installed on Win 7 x64. No need to hunt for drivers.. all are in the CD. The seller packed the product with full care and so it could withstand all the beatings in transit and reached in perfect condition. The print quality is great .. printing from DRAFT mode 120 dpi fast print settings in windows resulted in a very fine print on which the text is rendered with dots... perfect printer with almost no running costs (ribbon only) ... Go ahead if you need multiple-prints on perforated sheets .. or even if u wish to print text documents at home (for home only if you can bear the cranky noise of print head) To summarize those who wish to buy: Pros: 0. TVS is a reliable name in dot matrix printers. 1. Very cheap print costs 2. Print speed is very very fast 3. USB interface (no need to look for that LPT parallel port) + LPT interface. 4. Drivers CD complete and comprehensive. *5** Most importantly: The seller packs it very nicely and so it shall definitely withstand the surface transport beating.... Cons (none technical only cosmetic): 1. Print head cranky noise ( those who love to hear it .. its music to them...) 2. Print Letters and documents (text prints...) and don't expect it to print good quality graphics.
