Cheapest mechanical keyboard
By Dendion
It'g good for these people:
1. Shopkeepers
2. Typists
3. Gamers
(BECAUSE IT IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND CLICKY AND LAST FOREVER)
Its bad for these people:
1. Style conscious teenagers
2. People living with light sleeper roommates
3. People who get fed up with things quickly
(BECAUSE IT IS NOT VERY BEAUTIFUL AND NOISY AND LASTS FOREVER)
it has cherry mx blue switches. they are clicky and are of good quality. i have checked by removing keys that indeed they are mx blue. typing is pleasure on this keyboard.
Easy on the fingers

There is a bit of a fad going on these days for old-style mechanical keyboards, for good reason - with a bit of practice, the level of effort you put into each keystroke is noticeably less than the cheap membrane-based keyboards that are most common now.
In the case of the MX Blue switches used in keyboards such as this one, it's even more apparent, as there is a loud click before the key travels the entire range. This means you can release the key a lot more quickly than you can on membrane keyboards, and it's a lot faster and gentler typing overall.
The downside of the MX Blue vs membrane keys and other Cherry switches (such as MX Brown) is the louder noise and the slightly longer key travel range. I personally find this okay, since it helps me type with less force (due to the reason I outlined previously), and I use it in a room where the noise doesn't bother anyone else. If you're a gamer (and therefore need short keystrokes), or sharing a workspace you probably want a different keyboard.
Given all of that, this is likely the cheapest mechanical keyboard you're going to find in India. It's quite solidly built - large and heavy compared to most common keyboards - and the keys are firm and well constructed. If it weren't for the TVS logo in the corner you could be fooled into believing it's an imported Das Keyboard, which costs many times more.
NOTE: that the price of this keyboard fluctuates quite a lot on Flipkart - it seems to be a few hundred rupees more expensive right now than when I bought it. Check prices elsewhere to make sure you're getting a good deal before you buy. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend this keyboard.
I have using the TVS keyboard right from 2001 with everyday coding and typing comes around 1000-1500 lines per day ... After 12 years bought a new one a month back. Along with it I have been using microsoft natural and HP keyboards.. no keyboard can even come near the quality and durability of the TVS Keyboard.
Pros :
-> Very high Quality
-> Very high durablity (12 years 2001-2013)
-> Very good response from the keys
-> Increasing your typing speed drastically
Cons :
-> The Keyboard size is very big when compared to new keyboards
-> Cost is high [Flipkart cost is even higher, I bought it for lot cheaper price in market]
-> Click sound from the keys is very high, it may wake up other sleeping around :P
-> No media shortcuts. [Anyways as a Linux user media shortcuts do not bother me much]
If you are a coder/typist typing around 1000 lines per day this is the keyboard to go for. If you are a regular user just for web browsing you can give it a skip and go for cheaper ones.

I have used 125 bucks keyboard to keyboards supplied with branded desktops but the pleasure I got from this TVS Gold is really good !!
I bought it from Calcutta(Chandni Chowk) & I am damn happy !!
The noise, the feel..everything about this keyboard makes it TVS 'GOLD'.
Just simple keyboard without any media keys...
Don't think much...CLOSE YOUR EYES & GO FOR IT !!
