I purchased this hard disk form flipkart itself, but they first sent me old used one and later I replaced it, and again I got the Same in used condition i.e all stretches were there on it its sticker was removed too.
then also I connected it to my PC but it did not recognized. All useless my money lost, and now that product has became useless.
HATE YOU FLIPKART.
Before I used to purchase products from it, and that all were good but only this in product they CHEATED me.
Guys please now dont believe on Flipkart.

I ordered this drive from a seller named BCPL (Flipkart Advantage Rated). The drive arrived the next day in surprisingly well condition. I set it up, and it was working fine on the 6Gbps interface of my Gigabyte motherboard which is at present housing an Intel Core i3 3220 with an LGA 1155 socket. The PC booted up without any disturbance. Initially, I had the SATA access mode of my motherboard set on IDE. Later, I changed it to AHCI, and found a tremendous increase in data transfer speeds inter and intra hard hrives. (I have another Seagate Barracuda 250GB set up in my rig for the last few years). By the way, an amazing hard drive. SATA access mode recommended to be set at AHCI. But don't just set it right away without tweaking windows in Safe Mode, or otherwise Windows won't boot.

Purchased two of these hard disks.
Both of the hard disks were Dead on Arrival.
They could not be detected when they were attached to the motherboard and were powered on.
When other drives were attached to the computer they were working fine.

don't buy a seagate product this is a waste product. seagate giving u the local warranty, but don't look for tat local warranty, tats worst product , waste of money, waste of time, its better to buy a "WD" or "hitachi" hard drive they won't give u any problems like seagete
