Guys do not buy this product the seller has sent me a defective hard disk now i am facing lot of trouble in replacing this product.Why did i order it i was a fool i always buy computer products from nehru place because they are genuine and you can replace them by going to shop very easily.Do not buy it that is what i will suggest you.

Bought this Hard Drive 2 years back from Mumbai and have to say the hard drive quality is very good. Never had any problem.
If you are looking for 1TB hard drive definitely go with this one.

first i received defective product and after I called flipkart in their 10 day replacement period i got a new replacement after a week.leaving that the hard disk his working perfect .from 4 to 5 months.i use the hdd for normal home use.
THE HARD DISK COMES FROM A REPUTED COMPANY AN I ALSO AFTER LOT OF RESEARCH HAD ORDERED THIS SV-35 (ST1000VX000). IT IS A GOOD DEAL SO GO FOR IT
THOSE WHO ARE OPTING FOR 500GD HARD DISK SHOULD TAKE 1TB HDD AS THEIR IS NOT MUCH PRICE DIFFERENCE.

Product is working fine now, I had Seagate earlier also but based on my experience this brand will not create any issue for 36 months till the warranty period say how much rough you use it, but the problem might come after 50 months. I have to wait and see how long it works without issue.
I like this brand since it comes for long time when compared to other brands.
