Hey guys why crying for getting lower memory than its specified in cover. Its normal and no issues with your card. This is common in each and every memory storage Card,HDD,SSD etc out there in this world. The actual fact is memory devices run on MBR (master boot record) which take 2.5% to 4% of your actual available memory. Depending on the file system its use (FAT/FAT32/NTFS/NandFlash etc) the actual available memory will decreased. Just Imagine you take a blank paper and write something but if you need to write like a data sheet, you need to put margins depending on the data. Horizontally or vertically but you cant ask that why this margins eating up 3% of total paper size? Same thing happen with a storage device which 1st write a filesystem like margins. We called it "sectors" technically or MBR. Its also contains the firmware data which required the computer device recognize that memory card or HDD. These are the files/MBR/sectors consumed those space. So just chill and be happy. -Punyaslok Dash

Ordered a 128gb class 10 uhs 1 after the 32 gb one I had was falling short on space (the 32 gb card is a sandisk too that I had been using for almost 5 years now and 0 problems).The card that arrived was a bit old (july 2016) but it doesn't matter as much as it matters in the case of powerbanks and bluetooth speakers where in the battery starts to go bad in 3 months if kept on the shelf with no use.Testing for a fake card -:>(As some fake manufacturers can make exact same copies and most times the make 8 gb space card that have 32/64/128 gb print job and hacked to show 32/64/128 gb when connected to a device)First thing I did was to register it on the sandisk india's website on the support page (note- you need a pc/laptop to do this and mobile website dosent have the option to register I think but you can use chrome to show desktop version of the site).Next i sent a mail to the support team with serial number of the card to authenticate it and got a reply in 3 hours telling me its real.Test for speed and memory -:>Since a real card can have manufacturing defects too and be fully/partially corrupted (which may later on spread).Next I moved on to tests on the card connected to pc with a card reader using h2testw and other softwares.Write speed was 19mb/s initially but then dropped to a constant 17.7m/sec later on whileRead speed -20mb/s which worried me until i found out it was the cheap card readers fault which capped speed at 20.I inserted card in the phone itself and the speed result-Write =17.8 m/sRead 100 mb/sJust as promised by sandisk.In conclusion, this card is awesome, provided that you get a brand new authentic one and run the test/register it and all as soon as you get it and get the faulty or fake ones replaced while you are in the 2 weeks of buyers protection.

The price of micro SD cards have been falling. But, most of the time, when deciding which one to buy, we tend to ignore the speed as well as the longevity of the card. This is an excellent card. For people who're complaining about data corruption, it's probably your phone not being able to support the high capacity card. For people complaining about less than advertised capacity- have you ever used a PC? Formatted capacity will always be less than advertised as the file system (FAT32,ExFat,NTFS,EXT3, whatever you use) will consume some memory to write the allocation table, MBR, etc. As a rule of thumb, multiply the advertised capacity (in GB) with 0.93 and you'll get the available capacity. For a 500GB computer hard disk drive, you'll get about 465GB available. For this 128GB SD, you'll get about (128 x 0.93)=119.04GB available. This isn't a fault of Flipkart or SanDisk, this is the way computers work. Do some research before complaining.
