There was a time Samsung wasnt that well known in SSD market, But starting with 830 series they established themselves as a major player. 840 EVO was awesome but 850 EVO is better! Its built on the 3D NAND technology the next big thing in SSD which will help create high capacity SSDs. It trumps 840 Evo in every benchmark.It doesnt even spare the Pro version and beats it in most bench. But the Pro has 10years warranty compared to 5yrs in this. The best thing though is , it costs less than 840 :) :)

I got this product 3 days ago and this product is awsum. I checked it with blackmagic disk speed test and it gives 508 MB/s read speeds. Now softwares like Xcode and iOS simulator opens lot faster and when OS X El Capitan is being used used with this ssd you will not feel that you have only 4 gb of ram!!! I have only one complaint and that too with flipkart , price written on box is 10500 and on flipkart it shows 11700 and then gives 25% discount!!!

Product was well packed and seal by retailnet seller mfd Oct 17 thanks flipkart, important information about samsung EVO 250gb SSD product : Samsung doesn't provide SATA to USB cable , poor on company side then why to lock Ssd when you don't provide cable. Ssd is locked initially hence you must require SATA to USB, CD ROM software and computer to unlock SSD. My friends who want to buy this product then you must arrange SATA to USB must requirement.General info usable memory is 232/250gb.product speed is ultimate. .....you can feel the speed when you make one partition and install fresh window 8

It's a great product with a somewhat high price but it is newer technology and better quality than the competition. Boot times are now down to 10 secs from power button press, Game load times are way better too. Product was received promptly and was well packed by snapdeal. Product is genuine and got registered on Samsung website with no issues.
