As I've already said, I don't use the microphone or the buttons, so I can't attest to their quality. I only use them with my old S3 for music at night to sleep, because they're the only model that when the gel tip finally comes off, it can't get stuck in my ear (which happened once in the past with a different model, and waking up with it was one of the scariest experiences of my life)!! As for the headset itself, It's 100% OEM (at least mine is). The audio quality is just as good as the set that came with my S6, and it's just as comfortable.The case that mine came in was the black one in the pictures. It actually has Samsung ENGRAVED in it with the proper font & spacing, and is very solid. Knockoffs never have this amount of detail. Also, these didn't use cheap paper knockoff twist-ties, but rather solid bendable plastic ones.Some people think that because of the low price, these must be knockoffs. Of course they're low-priced, they're the models that came with the phone! Just make sure you never buy any cheap earbuds on eBay, as they WILL be knockoffs.I'll definitely buy another set of these, since I usually go through 2 or 3 headsets a year.
