I am using very old gaming rig. I bought it 5 years back. Even being 5 years I have good quality hardware that still performs well, satisfying my gaming and design needs. But it was bottleneck because even older 1 TB 5400 rpm harddisk. Now combining this with SSD have given a bump up in performance. Boot time is almost 8-10 Seconds with Windows 8.1. Most importantly, every application opens almost in instant. Only thing I disliked that, Samsung didn't include SATA cable in box. Though that cable is very cheap and easily available anywhere. I had to wait one day, to go out in market and buy that. I wish they had supplied that.

My Dell Inspiron N4010 laptop is pretty old - around 5 years now. Its Hard Disk was failing and laptop had become excruciatingly slow. I was thinking of replacing the laptop when I though of why not give this SSD a shot. I can always replace it if things don't work out.I cannot believe how fast my old laptop has become after replacing HDD with this SSD. It seems better and faster than when it was a brand new laptop! I received this SSD today and tried to install OS and my other software. As I am a Video Editor I have to deal with high end softwares. It has already boosted the speed of my old machine at least 5 times faster. Booting time reduced significantly. My colour grading software Davinci Resolve is working much faster.
