Bought for Rs. 38500 from local dealer including installation cost in Nov 2014. No worries till now.Pros :1.Silent Performance(very low outdoor unit noise and indoor one almost silent)2. INVERTER AC - great savings on electricity bills. Difference of only Rs. 250 per month for shift from fan to moderate usage of AC.3. FAST COOLING4. Efficient Air Throw. Thanks to its Innovative TRIANGULAR DESIGN.5. 10 YEARS Warranty on Compressor.6. SAMSUNG Product.Cons :1. No LED 88 Display for Temperature indication on AC. But it's present on remote. It's present on higher model in similar Samsung AC series (known to me before purchase, no regrets minor issue:))2. No backlit keys and backlit display on the provided remote control unit. Difficult at night.3. No automatic horizontal control on air throw. Manually adjustable though.All the cons are very minor issues. Can be overlooked.Biggest thing matters to me is fast, efficient cooling; savings and no problems in functioning of AC.Go for it. Value for money. Thumbs up from my side.

I bought this product from Croma in March 2014 and last month it went repair and they claim Condenser gone and they want me to spend 9000/- in 2 years I bought 1 Ton for 35000/- thinking that I will save in my electricity bill which made me fool to buy Samsung who are not good in AC inventions.While purchase the salesman said 5 years warranty on all and 10 years warranty on Compressor and now they say no sir.Only first year is full warranty.I hate Samsung and Croma Mount Road Chennai Sales and Service People.Call me before you think of buying this product.

I bought this last summer (not on flipkart). Paid 41000 including double boost stabilizer. Agreed it is a little expensive upfront but the savings are amazing. Cooling is also uniform and there are no start-stop cycles. In my previous rented house I had a Samsung 2star 1.5 ton AC and I ran a bill of 8000 in 2 months. With this one, my bill came down to 2500 / 2 months. (Off topic - I further brought it down to 1300 / 2 months by switching all lights to LED and fans to DC fans)
One thing to note: the savings will be visible only if the usage is for longer hours (more than 5-6 hours continuously). For those users who switch on AC for an hour or so and switch it off and sleep, this will actually consume more power. It's because it consumes max power in the first half hour and then uses marginal power to maintain that cooling for the remaining duration. For me, it remains on for at least 12-14 hours from evening till next morning - and it only takes about 3-4 units for this.

If I check any tonnage calculator it recommends me 2 ton for this size of room.
