The games (Pokemon X and Y) are a huge leap forward for Pokemon in terms of Graphics and Game-play. I have been playing these games for about a week now and I'm amazed at how great they are.Around 70 new Pokemon have been added and lots of Pokemon from the older generations are present.You can now walk in 8-directions instead of the previous 4-directional navigation system (i.e Up,Left.Down,Right).Yous can now also customize the look of your trainer by changing hairstyles,hair color,clothes and accessories such as sunglasses and footwear. Now in addition to the bicycle trainers can also roller-skate (lot faster then running!)The story-line is what you would come to expect from any Pokemon game (Collect 8 gym badges,Defeat an evil organisation that wants to take over the world with the help of a legendary Pokemon, Battle with said legendary Pokemon etc etc) Purchasing BOTH X AND Y would be rather pointless and a waste of money as the differences between the two aren't all that major. For those of you who don't know the differences b/w X and Y They mainly have to do with exclusive Pokemon (like Heracross for X and Pinsir for Y) and the main difference is in the legendary Pokemon able to be captured (featured on the cover) Xerneas in X and Yveltel in Y. A new concept called Mega-Evolution has also been introduced where select Pokemon like Charizard(and all the Kanto Starters),Lucario,Ampharos,Garchomp,Gyrados,Gengar etc can be further evolved into new Pokemon during Battle. Pokemon X /Y is an extremely fun RPG (Role-Playing-Game) which will appeal to you whether you're a old or new fan of Pokemon. In the end I think this (X/Y) is a must-buy game for the 3DS especially if you like Pokemon or RPGs

Game freak has really worked well with the graphics of each and every pokemon….the gameplay is too good to be described….even though its overpriced there is satisfaction of playing the game….it seems like each and every pokemon is brought to live during battles….graphics looks good on both 3ds and 3ds xl…..this is my friend code if u want to battle or trade My Friend Code is 1435 - 4663 - 4432….:P

The Pokémon Company has really outdone themselves this time. Well for one thing is that they've increased shiny rates and new ways to find them. Consecutive Fishing for example. And the increased freedom of customizing. Then there's also more freedom in the over world, such as the 8 directions as opposed to the regular 4 directions with the roller skates. Pokémon X (or Y) is a must-buy for all PKMN fans out there. FC is= 2638-0398-2397 please register me!!

The game is amazing. Its a revolution in the history of Pokemon. The 3D game play has made it a hit and the new designs are absolutely smashing. Its a game I would definitely recommend. Though it is much more expensive on Flipkart, you could get one from some other country. (I'm getting mine from Singapore at Rs. 2500)
