This is really great deal,and yes no home delivery charges on it at least not for me. The product is really great,I got this for 50mm f1.8 lens and works great and if you are thinking about getting HOYA trust me there is not much difference I have used both and will always choose this one over HOYA if you are not professional BTW why would a professional use a Filter anyways. For all those who are wondering yes a filter degrades Image quality but its really negligible and for country like India where dust and scratch friendly sand,banging people are common it is really worth having a filter on your lens. Coming to Flipkart,delivery was simple awesome I got this the second day.

This is really not a good deal.. yes even with no home delivery charges on it.. at least not for me. The product is really crap, I got this for 35mm f1.8 lens.. really bad ghosting in low light conditions coupled loss in quality of image. The lens cap does not fit properly beyond fixing the filter to the lens.. no sufficient threads to hold the lens cap. Feels like the lens cap would fall off any moment and also the improper fit renders the lens susceptible to dust accumulation. The quality of the item does not meet expectation, I do not recommend this filter.. shear waste of money! As for service by Flipkart, packing and delivery time meets expectations!

I have been using Omax filters and close-up lens for over 15 years now. I have always found them to be cheap, durable and effective. Compared to expensive products like Marumi and Hoya, this brand makes sense. Its a known fact that UV filters are of little effect in India due to the extremely high UV levels. As such the filters, whether cheap ones like Omax or 'premium' ones like Marumi/Hoya, are little more than pieces of glass, whose only purpose is to protect the lens, and we need to draw a full stop there. I read some complaints that this causes flare and ghosting in pictures, but so does my Marumi 52mm UV filter! I checked it a couple of days back. So... get the Omax, save 600 bucks, and take a wee bit of pain to take off the filter during flare-prone shots and fix it back on later! A full 5 stars merely for the cost effectiveness.
