The appearance and functioning are great. Idlis came out well the two times I tried.
Instructions for water quantity in the heating base for cooking of dal are vague.
It took a long time to cook dhuli urad, and I had to keep adding water to the base.

This is my first use of steam cooking.I have used pressure cookers and rice cooker and also electric pressure cooker.As of now I have used it for rice cooking,milk boiling steaming vegetables and for dal cooking.To be frank dal is not cooked properly in this cooker and also in rice cookers.Idly making also is good.For single vessel it is taking about 15 minutes but when it is two vessels it is not less than 30 minutes.for millet cooking i used once and was not well.however i will review after few more uses.Mainly for a small family it is o.k.
