Would not take all picture DVDs

As a DVD player its quite good, if not excellent. It plays Music CDS, Movie CDs, Movie DVDS quite all right. But it refuses to accept pictures DVDs in .jpeg format recorded on a regular computer and ejects as 'Error'. It would not also play .XVid files received from other sources and not even all regular MP4 files. Perhaps the encoding differs. It would however take regular branded DivX format disks with excellent reproduction.

Best suits my requirement. Bought it to hear music/ audio CD. Had to just plug it and play. Connected to my external 5.1 speaker and it was ready to go. Hardly took 10 mins for entire setup.

the order for lg 656 model dvd player was placed on flipkart on 25th and the product has been received today the 29th october, just in four days time, in good shape, size and condition. the product has already been installed and the performance is awesome. i am very happy the performance of the product. i went for this model after thorough research on internet, and certification from my close associates.

Eject function stopped working in 5 days of use

Do not buy this product. The eject button stopped functioning in 5 days of use. Poor build quality. Apparently the eject motor is not functioning. Now I need to call LG service to rectify this. Hope they do it,, otherwise the Rs 3,500/- I spent on this will go to waste. Dr Tushar Roy

LG DV656 DVD Player, I bough from Snapdeal as same was not available at any other store at the same price with Best In Return Policy available only @ Snapdeal. LG DV656 DVD Player is best in this price range.
