I was confused to choose between Intex and huwaei Power-Fi. As many reviewers has pointed that huwaei oscillates between 2G and 3G and it does not provide a stable internet connection. So I went ahead with Intex. Pros: 1. Can connect to any OS - So far I used only in ubuntu, I am sure that it must work with any OS, because the USB connects as a wired connection - similar USB Tethering of Android phones. 2. "3G only" option - This prevents network oscillation and ensures a consistent good connection 3. SMS facility - Send and view SMS 4. Free Power Adaptor - which is not available with huwaei power-fi (I suppose) 5. Solid build - Both Router and Power adapter feels solid 6. Black color - Better thermal performance and better look 7. Simple and easy to use interface Cons: 1. Wi-fi range I found to be less; though it does not matter to me.
