I've had this laptop for over 2 years now and it is working fine till date. The battery life is average (approx 3-4 hrs according to usage), the screen has developed light bleed at some pixels in 2-3 places on screen. HP support while the product is in warranty is good and satisfactory. This is one of the cheapest laptops with a good processor AMD 7410 and a graphics card by AMD to run games. It is capable of running all games upto 2014-15 and newer games at lowest settings except some which are completely incompatible.Note: Drivers can be downloaded from HP website there will be no CD for drivers included.

I used this lappy for a year and it is splendid..Rendering wise you cannot go beyond 1280x720 if you need more fps...Can run videos at 2560 x 1440 at 60 fps at startup with no background apps running...You can only view images in the 4k resolution...i have a 4k ips tv...and the images looks stunning...If you are looking for browsing and videos and movies then please get an ipad 2017 for 25k the same price for which i got this lappy...If you are a student or a professional take this lap ubuntu 16.04 is lightning fast than Windows may be due to heavy 64bit optimisation on ubuntu. good for high quality indie games ...it is stunning and this is a late 2016 model will surely last next seven to 10 years..its a steal if you get it for less than 25k.

-The laptop serves my home needs.-I can see movies, work with youtube and some basic software.-It is not a very high ended laptop so cannot play games with it.-For the money, the value is good. Go for it.-I have been using it for 2 years and have no complaints.

Laptop based on new Carrizo line which consumes much less battery. See the proccessor AMD A8 7410 version along M330 graphics rather M230 graphics. Go for it you are a gamer on a budget and value battery life. Not much inprovement on non graphic intensive tasks. Comparable to 5th gen i3 but much much better graphics.

I as a graphic designer will recommend people who are looking for a similar kind.
This Model is good to run/use photoshop, illustrator and other 2d softwares very smoothly. (No Stutters). I have not installed games/3d softwares, so no clarification regarding the same.
But i will suggest 15-bg001AX Notebook (15.6 inch, Turbo Silver, 2.19 kg) which is EVEN MORE BETTER as that model has
1 TB HDD
4 GB RAM (Supports Upto 16 GB) (2 Slots) ( I recommend another 4 GB RAM to be added )
2 GB Graphic Processor - (M430) where 15-af006AX model is 2GB (M330)
Instruction set are the same in both these models. (Dont get Confused).
I will STRONGLY RECOMMEND HP - 15-bg001AX Notebook (15.6 inch, Turbo Silver, 2.19 kg),
as the price is 1K less than this model (15-af006AX) which i have bought/reviewed.

Bough this laptop for 27k from seller Coolbuy. Excellent delivery time. 1 day delivery cost me Rs 90 extra :). Packaging was excellent.
With regards to the laptop itself:
Pros:
1. Good Graphics processor at such low price. Able to run Shadows of Mordor at medium gfx level and most call of duty games at high settings. Call of duty Ghosts and Advanced warfare will stutter very badly though :(
2. The laptop is very quiet for normal tasking
3. Heat levels are quite ok. However, gaming heats the laptop quite a bit
4. 4 GB RAM ensures that the machine is quick and responsive for everyday usage
5. Good processor. Had a Gen 2 i3 machine earlier. This seems to be a lot better
6. The lid is not matte finish but a silver coloured crosscut pattern. Prevents the lid from becoming a fingerprint magnet and reduces need for cleaning
7. Slim and sleek body. Light and easy to handle. looks good
8. Build quality is also good
9. Decent sound quality
Cons:
1. Touchpad buttons are hard on the fingers. They need a bit of effort to press and are not very comfortable. Recommend buying a mouse
2. No driver disc with this laptop. the need to connect and search for HP drivers is a little frustrated, especially when there are no drivers installed for either ethernet or Wi-Fi. Had to download these 2 drivers on another machine and then put them on this one
3. Only 1 USB port works out of the box. For me it was the second one on the right. These will work only after the OS is installed
4. The direction keys are extremely small. Gamers used to a keyboard with normal sized keys may find it a little hard at first to use this one
5. The brightness control function keys aren't working for me :(. Need to contact HP support to get it fixed. Might be just a driver issue
6. the partion on the HDD is a UEFI partition that works with Windows 8 onward. A little googling is required if someone needs to install Windows 7
Overall verdict - few niggling issues but a very good config for the price. However, would recommend this one only for tech savvy users or for people willing to pay for someone to install the OS and essential software

Worthy Product

This is my first laptop and I am very much satisfied with its performance.
Its been 1 year since I am using it and it runs pretty well. 2 GB dedicated graphics lets me enjoy FIFA uninterruptedly and smoothly. Even without powering it off for 2 3 days, it does well and heating is not an issue if you use something like book or any other thing for elevation from surface to avoid heating. Worthy for 28000 range. Go for it!!
