I am frustated while using the dell inspiron 15, 3542 note book, I have received from flipkart. The laptop is not getting charged. After switching the start button, it does not have a glow. The laptop starting time is note less than 3 minutes.
All these problems and details were provided to flipkart team at bangalore, every time a new person come and I had repeated my problems to them umteem no. of times, they give a dead line of 48 hrs on 1st interaction, nothing happened. Thereafter on 2nd interaction, they have ask me to do some thing in the computer, the message coming on the laptop that there is a problem in charger and laptop will not charged. aftrer giving this feed back nothing happened. Thereafter in the 3rd interaction, Mr sharif, their executive advised me on 25.07.2014 that a technical person will positively attend to my laptop by visiting my residence by 29.07.2014. Noting happend till date. Thereafter I received mail asking for lot of laptop details, I have provided the same on 31.07.2014. Nothing happend till date. I am totally frustedet on the responce time of Flipkart custome care personnel. They do not bother about custome.

best product.....although had problems wid the touch pad....works smooth...takes 3-4 secs switch on and 4-5 secs switch off....its heavy and design is smiple...like the grey color thn the black one...has a SINGLE SLOT for RAM...so if wanna install new one,will have to replace the old one....

i have bought this laptop from showroom in nehru place and i"m very happy with its performance.. as i"m a programmer i need a laptop that shoud be fast,light weight, durable, and have best keyboard design to cope with my typing speed... and this laptop fulfill all my requirement, it have an awesome silver furnished classic look, and have scratch resistance interior pane, have hd true life display, have sufficient space for palm rest which make typing very comfortable.... and the best part is its processor an intel core i5 4th generation processor with 4gb ram but it do not have etc. graphic card as i"m not a gamer so i don't need this.and 1TB hard disk is more than sufficient for any type of user. it have a good webcam and sound quality that add some more stars to this product.
After all i"m very much happy with my decision to buy this laptop and didn't face any problem till yet..

lappy is smooth 4gb RAM, 1Tb HD, 4th gen i5 procs,
only cons: no back lit & 4 cell battery.

First of all, on time delivery by WS retail and in good condition. WS retail has established really high standards.
The product is good and satisfy all the gaming needs and its in budget too.
Product is highly recommended but if you can get same product with Ubuntu, you will save atleast 3k bucks.I am still struggling with windows 8.1 UI. It sucks.
I am giving it 4 stars just because of windows 8.1 else product deserves 5 stars.

I preferred this laptop to dell inspiron 15 3537(4th gen Ci5/6GB/ 1TB / win 8.0 / 2GB graphic card (radeon) ) (i first ordered this then cancelled it and replaced it with this laptop) ... the shipment is yet to b delivered at my home .... but just RAM got 4 GB from 6 GB otherwise ... HD webcam , McAfee for 15 months + a really class color ...unlike the stereotype black of (3537). About graphic cards .... doesn't make much of a difference albeit ATI radeon provided in (dell 3537) is a slight edge over NVIDIA (in this laptop) but went for this ..A diminutive difference :D Hope so my choice pays off ...

Ordered Dell Inspiron 3542 (1TB, 4GB RAM, 2GB Nvidia chip, 4th gen i5) at approximately an hour past midnight. Received it at 11am the same day. That's roughly 10 hours folks. I was pleasantly surprised. Packaging was great. No complaints at all.
The Laptop itself is really good. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who asks,
The sound system falls a little short of its true potential, I felt. Otherwise, Its a good buy.
