Perfect 3G Data card. One can take call, do call, do messaging from PC. After using constantly for more that 10 hours, it do not heat up.
Only con is that it does not have a software or hardware hotspot. But you can use third party software to create hotspot.

First I had great difficulty in opening its cover for inserting sim card. The tiny slot where one needs to pull by nail is too small. It took me 45 minutes struggle to open its cover. Whereas other data cards have easy opening covers. After using it for few days, I found the Speed is slow compared to huawei data card with same sim. Speed test sometimes gives 0 speed. Sometimes it gives connectivity problem and displays error id 633. Then you have to uninstall the entire software and reinstall again to get the connection. Soft wi-fi feature is not accessible from its user interface. You need to run cmd.exe in windows run dialog box and do some jugglery with commands. I tried it for 2 hrs but could not succeed to establish soft wifi hotspot. Finally I gave up. After so many annoying experiences with it now I have decided to discard it and go back to using Huwaei data cards.

I bought this product to work in tandem with D Link ADSL modem / router 2750U. This works well and no issues. Good product to buy and select from. There are several similar options to choose from, the reason I stuck to this was because I didnt want to take a change of compatibility issue with my Router/Modem.

The application that is D-Link Connection Manager Stops working after use of 3 hr. but internet can be access for 15 minutes thereafter, than full d-link DWM 156 stops working.
I have good network almost 3 bars of 5 in UMTS/HSPA network my service provider is Idea cellular and full network in GPRS in Idea Cellular.
I can't disconnect it from that application so I need to forcedly disconnect it from my Task Manager
I have bought it from the flipkart.com on 15 Jan 2013.
My System details are
Operating System windows 7 professional
Service pack 1
RAM 2 GB
Processor AMD Sempron(tm) 145 processor 2.80 GHz
To work properly I need to remove/eject d-link DWM 156 from the computer and then plug in again and again install it and use for 3 hr.
Sometimes this also doesn’t work.

3)In case of idle connection in D-link Connection Manager at Diagnostics everything becomes unknown and I think this lead to disconnection.

I read all the reviews before buying this item yet I had to buy it because I used all other USB adapters available in the market of which I found some satisfactory and some not.I never bought or used a D Link USB modem before so I ordered it after going through the specification.I was halfhearted with idea that I might have to return it.Well, it met my expectation to maximum extent,it is loaded with features and functions that other devices come nowhere near it,most notable is USSD feature.There are guys claiming problems one kind or another using this device which I think mostly owing to the machine configuration and mobile operator network related.I use Airtel for access to Internet and it is working fine on Window XP.Of course the device would not work with MAC OS despite the claim made by retailers and on D Link site, I think there is some kind of gap to do with the claim.I rate this device to be the best of the lot.I noticed one thing in particular, the physical product is way different from the images put up on Flipkart or D Link site, GHOST PROTOCOL!

I purchased it to use this dongle with my DLINK ADSL Modem cum router 2750U.
And it was just working fine, nice 3G speed I got with BSNL 3G sim even on roaming. (1.3-1.6 Mbps).
I also tested it with the same sim, in my tablet zync z1000 using PPP Widget from play store, and on my HP laptop, its perfectly working.
the device is nicely made, with fine touch.
