This unit paid for itself and then some during my 10 day hotel stay in Delhi. You can easily prepare four packets of Maggie at the same time. Water boiling is very fast, cleaning is easy because of polished stainless steel.The handle stays cool and comfortable throughout. Its thick and grips easily without slipping even with a full kettle.I boiled eight eggs at a time and they all fit in one layer. I could have easily boiled eight more as a second layer on top of the first one. It took less than 6-7 minutes each time.Considering that even and economic hotel meal is Rs. 600/- plus for a couple, this really came in handy. I must have saved at least 5-6 thousand Rupees in meals alone in a single trip.The settings really work efficiently. On the rice cooking setting, the unit switched on and off at least twice by itself and then stayed on warm for a few minutes before switching off completely.The swivel base is very convenient to turn the kettle to the most comfortable angle for either left or right hand without disturbing the cooking process or twisting the cable.All in all, it works beautifully. A wonderful investment.

Overall, a good electric kettle for most purpose. Make maggi easily, boil vegetables, milk, make tea, etc. However, a couple of problems with it. Firstly, the lid cover is not detachable, which gets really annoying sometimes. The heating element is not uniformly distributed under its base. It is confined to one half of the base. Therefore, one half of the base becomes extremely hot, which in turn, may burn your eatables.

1 Lt capacity means, you have enough space for preparing khichdi/Maggie for 2-3 persons. Ideal for frequent traveller. One caution you have to keep in mind that while preparing Maggie/boiling milk, you must stir it for a while other wise it it become so hot at bottom, it can burn your milk. Do not rely upon its different modes given in the knob. Use it manually as per your requirement.Overall a must have item for all frequent traveller of a family of two.

Good product. However, it has a design fault. After boiling water, condesate that is under the lid pours onto the handle when lid is lifted. It should have been designed such that the condensate pours back into the kettle. The handle has a RED indicator light. At times condesate gets into it. Chances of short circuit.
