Coming from Andriod (Gingerbread) 7 -inch tablet user (myself) at first it feels little bit heavier but after a week of usage its gone. Amazing Retina display noticeable as soon as power on the tablet. I was waiting for Samsung to release it Google Nexus 10 here in India officially (Warranty & Support) but I realize there is nothing Samsung can do unless Google decide to launch there full "Play" service in India i,e Music/Magazine/Movies/Books etc. So I jump to iOS ecosystem + Tablet with Warranty & Support...And I'm satisfied what Apple + iOS offering. My biggest concern was limited Video playback (codec support) of iDevice, but Oh Boy...There is paid and free software available at App Store which can let user drag and drop file as well as in device delete function. The same can applied music playback too and .flac file support . There is app for there and free too. The iOS appstore is complete gold mine and you don't know unless you use it by yourself. Now the reason to choose Ipad Four or 10 inch tab over smaller size tab or upgrade from my aged 7 inch Android. Pros:- 1.Full desktop class web browsing, No need for pinch & zoom to read the text or the content of the page. Hmmm....Steve Jobs was right, This is the perfect size of tablet/display which human eye can get used to.... 2.As this is my first Ipad, So Retina Display, Processor Upgrade, Out of the Box iOS 6 - There is no better time to grab it. 5Mp autofocus Camera is surprisingly good for still. 3.iOS Ecosystem - Quality Apps - Plenty of them free too - Games !!! 4.Plenty of reading - Ebooks & PDF's as well as any document, The Ipad display just made for them - Text ,Picture everything just amazing. 5.Most of the Transfer iTunes needed, but there is software called iFunbox (free availble for mac & windows) which can be used to mount iDevice as Hardisk mode and give access to internal file system without any jailbreak. Latest version of iTunes extremely easy to use than the previous....if you solely depend on it to mange music collection with this software after a week or month u find all your music file properly taged/sorted and arranged. Cons :- 1.A little bit weight....not suitable you are on the move,for this situation iPad Mini is there. 2.On Screen Keyboard a little it awkward, never show small letter in Keyboard display (When you start writing a word) just like physical PC or Mac keyboard and I still can't find Arrow keys to move the blinking cursor if I need to edit a line at beginning. 3.Finger print magnet screen - but scratch resistance - Need Cover and Case immediately. 4. Glossy screen - Reflective One - It is annoying - When turn off it can be used as a mirror. 5. No widgets at Home screen - Not a big concern for me, but those who solely rely on it get disappointed and yeah No Live wallpaper too. 6. No disk mode mount and drag & drop unless there is some software present in the Computer. 7. 4:3 aspect ratio for screen, Very Good for everything, but there is black bar when playing 16:9 Movie file. Despite all restriction my rate will be 5/5 due to most matured App Ecosystem & Brilliant Display. This is the tablet which is perfect for Media Consuming.

Apple 32GB iPad with Retina Display and Wi-Fi (4th Generation) (Black) Review by Chayan Mazumder | Flipkart.com First let me talk about my gadget experience so that its clear how i'm comparing this product. I have a moto atrix 2 (a good android product), before getting the ipad was using friend's nexus 7(best android tablet no doubt). Used my gf's galaxy s3( apart from the touch nothing excited me). Well the review will go off track if i talk abt the above gadgets too much. But basically i'm a hard core android user and WAS a fan! Lets compare iPad with nexus 7. And people must be wondering why I'm comparing nexus 7 with iPad 4. One reason, they are phenomenal devices from the two different eco-system (iOS and Android) Lets talk about the ipad 4 or the ipad with retina display... Pros: 1. Processor A6, the fastest till date (as on 30/03/2013). Game loading time was phenomenally better compared to nexus 7. 2. Screen size is very good for reading and a person who needs accurate representation of colours. Compared to super-amoled, that adds too must of saturation and the white is off. More of a bluish hue. iPad is definitely recommended for photographer ( me being one) colour is accurate, period. 3. Crisp display that will bring out the minute details as-well. 4. Graphics, well use it to believe it. Have compared games like Nova3, mass effect, shadow gun: dead zone, real racing and many heavy games. Its just blows nexus 7 in every aspect. Thought the nexus has chipset, Nvidia Tegra 3. Yet details are missing. 5. The user interface and usability is very smooth. No app crashes, (except for Facebook and Chrome). All the other app are working excellent. And transitions are quite smooth and nice. 6. iPad is a good productivity tool with pages and keynotes. Though they are expensive but is irreplaceable by quick office or kingsoft office. Though the latter too is a complete package. And the former two are sold separately. But they are good. And i have used each one and have thus stated what i felt. 7. Photo editing is also quite nice with the purchased apps. Or if you know how to get them for free( applies to point 7). Some apps are just not made for android. And no one has an answer to why the divide or biased behaviour by devs. 8. Oh last but not the least. Battery performance is just fantastic. No device comes close to iPad in battery backup. My personal stats are 10-14hr of use with wifi connected throughout. And a bit of gaming included. Now the range mentioned by me so vague because i have not computed or tested the tablet for actual backup with gaming. But twice without gaming and wifi connected throughout, got a performance of 13-14 hours.And brightness does play a role here and mine was at 20-25% without auto brightness! Lets come to cons: 1. Coming from android, missing the file structure very much. 2. Interface is boring and the almost the same brought forward since 2008, when ios was incepted and was called 'iPhone os' 3. User are restricted and ios is not flexible. Eg, a pdf file needs to be added to each individual app that you want to open it with. Like i have adobe reader, goodreader and quickoffice. I needed to add it to each one of them if i need to access the file in all 3 of them. 4. Ipad is heavy and can be cumbersome for user who love light and portable devices. 5. And apple products are delicate. The slightest of nick or bump gives you a dent! 6. Apple is famous for using premium material and aluminium as the back. This results in a week wifi connectivity. Eg, if the wifi signal is week, then iPad will flutter to conmect to that wifi. Whereas Nexus/Samsung products connect to the week signal effortlessly. And this because of the fact that they have plastic backs. 7. All in all IOS is very restricted compared to Android. Well i cannot recommend or suggest this product as all boils down to an individual's need. But i am happy with my purchase and love it. Not because i spent a premium price or got an Apple product. But love the product cause of its performance and power! And i am not trashing nexus7. It will be my second best device. If need be. I will write a review on it as-well. But for iPad 4th gen, i will rate it 8.5/10.

The best battery backup ever(11560maH) battery for more than 20hrs of use when used with less brightness & sound. 4. Processing speed is super(1.2ghz dual core processor) never slows down even when more apps are open & even after years(whereas in other phones will wearout in months). It won't hang at any cost. 5. Best device for gaming with quad-core graphics card. 6. U will get all the OS updates(whereas in android u won't) 7. It's 100% virus free(whereas in android no) 8. Some apps which r paid in android r free in iOS. 9. Super App Store design & max apps will b in HD. 10. Stronger wifi signal sensing & 4G compatible upto 150mbps speed. 11. Super camera clarity. 12. Whatever new apps released 1st will b in iOS & then in android. 13. Lightning connector for fast transfer & charging. -ve's : 1. Bit heavier, difficult to carry in hand, needs a bag(662g+ case) 2. No customisation. 3. Not expandable. 16GB won't be enough because of HD. 4. Can't transfer apps & games thru Bluetooth(whereas in android u can) & can connect to only apple devices. 5. Can't get 3rd party apps & local apps like torrent, bus timings etc.(in android u can) 6. Apps can b downloaded from AppStore & iTunes desktop only(whereas in android u can download paid apps for free from many websites) but if u jailbreak u will get all apps free. 7. No texting so u can't check ur data balance. U have to remove & insert ur sim in other phone. 8. Supports only mp4 video format(but u can download from the App Store which supports all the formats) 9. Can't connect external hard drives even thru converters. 10. Won't get earphones in the box. All equipments r costly for apple in India.

This product is ultimatum. I've used the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 before the iPad and it feels like I've upgraded to something much much better. The display is gorgeous and everything in the tablet is so, so user-friendly. Samsung's tablet now feels like nothing.. This feels so much better.. The touchscreen is way better, the performance is killing! Games feel awesome and I think this is just the righ tablet.. Apple apps like Find my iPhone and Remote are crazily amazing! I can control my iTunes in the computer placed in my room from the iPad with me when I'm watching TV in the living area! Music is good. I can split the keyboard into two! Everything is good about all iPads. The battery is a great 10 hours of usage.. One bad thing, though is that Siri doesn't work well with my Indian accent.. Overall, I'd spend the extra anytime to get an iPad over the other rubbish devices that are there..

Well first of all this is not a product review.. I Ordered on Flipkart from seller:Kharidiye. Received a used opened iPad 16GB. So same day asked for an exchange. My first request to exchange the faulty product was rejected. I again wrote to Flipkart and Kharidiye threatening to take action against this injustice. It took them 7days to finally intimate me that they would give me a new piece. I am happy with the replaced iPad, it is in perfect condition. I just hope Flipkart can improve their Customer Service team which handles these return/exchange formalities. The process takes quite long and I have had a couple of sleepless nights due to the lazy attitude in which they conducted this exchange. Anyways all is well that ends well I guess. But I will think twice about buying an expensive product from Flipkart again.

I like this iPad, better than google nexus. But I hate that I am not able to download Apps from App Store without verifying my Credit Cards, even free Apps , Apple you can't let us download Apps without our Credit Card Info? BTW why you want that? I am not going to purchase any paid apps. This is disappointing. I searched over internet for solution but no luck. Now using it as media Player and for net surfing only. Sad :(

Superb product from Apple as we all know... What surprised me is the speed of delivery from Amazon. I ordered this iPad just before midnight at around 11:50 PM .... It was delivered before 10:30 AM next morning. No I had not paid for next day delivery...As for the iPad.... What I like best about iPad mini is that it takes very less time to charge... I think its approx. an hour or less for 100% battery charge and lasts for almost 8 hours with full use. Last time I did not charge it for 6 days at a stretch with minimum usage... I still had 20% battery left.

Awesome battery backup.. I just love iOS really feel like worth for money.. I have been using android since 2011 but never feel what iOS is. Really happy with its gaming experiences. thumps up for Apple enginneers. I just found a single disappointment with the pixels but strictly speaking that doesn't matter at all. Browsing Internet is to smooth. Never hang like android. Completely satisfied with its overall performance. Guys if your budget is around 15k go for it. 512mb does not matter at all guys most of high end games runs smoothly like nova 3, most wanted , asplat 8 without frame loss.

I was stuck between the decision to choose between IOS & Android. But when it comes to pure media consumption , you dont need to think any further Apple does it the best.The onlycon I fond is the lack of USB OTG support to enable me to transfer files easily without hooking up to my PC.Best tablet under 8" . Look no further.
