Received the printer in perfect condition. It works as expected, no complaints. However, I came across an Advisory that was issued by Ricoh India that advises users not to buy any Ricoh products from e-Commerce websites. This is SCARY !Advisory to Ricoh customers for Online purchases of SP 111 PrintersNew Delhi, 30 September 2014: Ricoh India Limited would like to issue an advisory cautioning its current and potential consumers of Ricoh SP 111 series laser printer and A4 MFP.Ricoh India has not authorized sales of SP 111 and SP 111SU models on any e-commerce companies website such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Infibeam and Shopclues, or any resellers through market place on the above e-commerce sites. Any such sales is considered as unauthorized and illegal in the nature. Ricoh would void the warranty for such sales/purchases.Ricoh India does not guarantee the authenticity of this models purchased from such e-commerce sites in terms of its quality, specifications, price and performance. The printer has been setup by myself and mated with the Desktop with Windows Home basic OS but when starting the printer to do a test page the page printed was completely dark with Black cartridge ink filled.I do not know why this is happening when I do the testing page 3 times.Will the supplier help me out in sorting out this issue.Further the scanner's software also installed along with the printer's software but scanner is also not identifiable in the system.Help is needed in this respect from the supplier.

Worst ever services "Ricoh"1st purchased "Product not working" called Customer care and they provided service request no.I Did regular follow ups with then and they regularly keep on changing there service request no.sAt last a technician visited after 6 days, Here he was lack of knowledge and lack of testing equipmentHe said me to return the product as its defective and it will not be cover under warranty.I request him that I cant wait long as I am in big loss due to printer "as my old printer stopped working all of sudden" and also he already wasted my 6 days" , so if he say I can also pay for any parts and additional his service charges but i need it urgently" whether covered under warranty or not - I don't care"He replied no I cant as even if I wish to then also i can't make it right as i don't have even a single part of the printer to check were the problem isthen how will i correct it, it will take minimum 15 days to repair it because company dont provide us pats to check and we have to ship it to there location, its better to get it replacedOkI open a return request on amazon and thanks to amazon they replaced the product next day itselfBut again Its really worst "Ricoh" Printer start misbehaving after 132 Print outs and again its 7 days over with 3 to 4 service request no. on my messages but no one ever came to repair it latest service request no. they gave me yesterday on 6/02/2018 is LSP348723And last i want to tell you mine is not a ruler area , I belong to Jaipur , rajasthan - which is a metro city.I hope amazon will help in any manner

Two major problems with this printer:1) You can put straight and stiff pages in the paper tray, but when they come out after printing they are curved as if they had been rolled up for some time.2) The manufacturing quality sucks!! Within the first two weeks the printer would not turn on. It was a pain to contact warranty and get it repaired as apparently they did not have the parts available. Even after fixing, there is an earthing problem with the printer. If you turn on the printer and touch the end of the USB cable, you'll be able to feel some current. BEWARE, this might damage your expensive laptop/desktop!
