I bought this printer from Amazon after lot of research on the features and pricing done by me on various products brands and previous reviews. I am happy to receive the delivery on 16th Jul 2016 booked on 14th Jul 2016. Very fast in delivery. Thanks to Amazon for a to z care. Received product in good condition from JM INC (WB) in original sealed packaging. Installation is very simple, need to follow the Quick setup guides and installation CD ROM provided along with the product. WIFI set up is also very easy. I have installed WIFI behind router and not as Access Point to take full advantages of WIFI Internet as I am having WIFI broadband router at my home. Print Quality is very good. Very bright colour images are coming out of the printer, may be because of original catridges. I have also order inks from INKCLUB after research done on internet. I need to try these inks. Reviews say that they are compatible inks for Canon Pixma printers and are very good in giving quality printouts.As said in previous reviews by others, the plastic material is very delicate and fear that any mis-handling may break the assemblies (front paper tray, output tray etc.) The red colour is superb and I liked it very much. Scan function is super resulting in crisp images.Need to explore more on the software applications that are provided by canon. Image Garden is good and I used it for scanning my family photo and used it in preparing calendar. Will explore all other features . To avoid costly cartridge I thought I will refill inks based on the videos provided in youtube.I surely recommend Canon MG3670 All In one Printer. Thanks Canon for making such a wonderful printer. Canon packing: 8/10Printer was very easy to install and connect to my WiFi and phone. Follow below steps to connect printer to router or directly to phone.1. See that both WiFi blue light and power green light are steady and not flashing. If flashing, switch off the printer and on again.2. Press the WiFi button on printer until orange alarm lamp flashes once3.1 Now within two minutes go and hit the wps button on your router if it supports and see that WiFi blue light stops flashing and is lit. 3.2 now download canon print app from play store or app store an open it and agree to all terms and conditions. 3.3 now select add printer in top left corner and select register/search printer and phone will find your printer as mg 3600 series. Then click on printer name and edit as you like. And the setup is done4.1f your router is not WPS enabled then skip step 3, 3.1, 3.3. Follow step 3.2 4.2open wifi settings of your phone and search for Canon ij setup or something like that and connect it. 4.3 now opent canon print app and select add printer in top left corner and select search/register printer and then select printer setup and select connection method 4.4if you have WiFi router then select first option and select said of router you want to connect and enter it's password. Now follow step 3.35.1 if you don't have wireless router and want to connect to print directly then skip steps 3.1, 3.3, 4.1, 4.4 and follow 3.2, 4.2, and 4.3 5.2 select second option as direct connection and follow on screen instructions and setup is done. Remember to perform step 3.36 for connecting it to computer just insert the c.d or download it's setup software and follow on screen instructions.The printer does not make any sound and gives a crisp and clear pictures even in Xerox.Scan results are pretty good and they can be kept as jpg or PDF.Pros of mg 3679:1. Sharp and clear printouts with higher resolution scanning.2. Least noise than traditional hp and other canon printers.3. Fast4. Wireless it's very good.5. Duplex printing6. Cannot scan print or copy legal size documents or papersOverall the best printer in its category and price point must go for it if your budget is limited till 4500 (4000 printer plus 500 ciss system) and you need an advanced technology and fully device.

I had got the E400 before to do some printing but after using that a lot I found out the hazels of duplex printing. Turning over the pages does not properly print the other side on the required pages and they can get misplaced somehow. Then there was the problem of trying to print from the phone and not requiring a router to be ON to print. This printer does it all in that regard, it can directly connect to the phone without the router being on unlike the previous models and even turn on when it receives a print command..Does automatic duplex printing as required without misplacing pages and the best thing is, the printing resolution is twice as high. It makes a difference when you print page sized photos where grain pixels dont show up. The scanner also has double the resolution. Printing costs are more than twice as much as the ink efficient E400 lines.. but the printing and scanning are also twice the resolution. So you do pay for better prints and scans. Worth it in an office setting but for college use it is too expensive.After reading some of the other reviews I had to add this part.. 5 or so years ago I had an HP AIO which I used occasionally and it said I had run out of ink after like 50 pages. So I got a new cart and after 3 pages or so it stopped printing with the new cart. Got so mad that I stopped using it. But just yesterday I took out the carts I had saved and broke open the black one and pulled out like 6ml of black ink from the original cart, the replacement one was also full but it was more dried out and could have been a fake. The color carts also had half ink left. On my E400 it said low ink and to replace it so I opened those as well and they also had over half full carts. So just because the printer says you are out of ink does not really mean the cart is empty. Being a techy even I was fooled into buying a brand new cart after 40 or so pages because it said I ran out of ink when in fact the cart was still almost full..I think everyone complaining about high costs are because of these kinds of experiences. Its not that they ran out of ink in the carts, just that the printer thinks the carts ran out of ink, so search for ways around this error condition. I was able to print more than 100 pages on my E400 after it said I had run out of ink. Should be the same for any cart from my experience as I broke some decade old HP carts and they were still half full of ink which were replaced because at the time the printer said it had run out of ink. And they were not dried out even after a decade.I also found out that even if you dont print, the on/off cycle will use up some ink so in 3 months you will find empty carts even without printing a single sheet if you always turn it on/off. leaving it on will cycle it every few weeks instead and lasts for a couple of years.
