It is an average device -Not bad but not even great. The file transfer speed the seller has mentioned (100 Mbps) is just a marketing pitch as the actual transfer speed is only up to 30 Mbps and in most cases it is only up to 15-20 Mbps. Actual usable size is 57.2 GB. It is light weight and easy to handle and carry.The amazon delivery for this product was fastest for me as a prime member. I had ordered it at 11:30 pm and I got the delivery at 11:30 am on the next day.

Absolutely right. I purchased this for recovery purposes that means most of the time there isn't any writing done, just reads. But whenever I copy files more than 4/5 Gb, the copying speed goes down to 10mb/s or even 6-7mb/s at its worst. I have tried all kinds of allignment and tried all sorts and sizes of data. After 10-15 seconds the speed is even worst than a usb 2.0 drive (my transcend 2.0 always maintain a speed of 15-20mb/s). I have been a pc tech for a decade, and for anyone reading this, please 'D'ont buy this drive. Go for transcend or even hp. I have tried most of the available drives available in the market. Do not experiment because eventually it will fail at your expectation. I've been there, done that. Maybe amazon have some kind of extra % with Sandisk and Seagate(for hdd) but transcend, hp and sony thumbdrives have been always to my satisfaction. And for hdd/ssd, wd and samsung still are the best drives available. Hope this helps.It will always be the last sandisk thumdrive I have ever used just like transcend replaced my several Sandisk micro-sd cards which failed without reasons and I still remember the frustration of loosing valuable data at the time when mobile phones needed micro sd cards. Sandisk started with good products but now I think, really, Sandisk is a failure.

After using so many pehdrives I taste this one and as compare to those pehdrives I am in the position to say that this is better than those. It does not heat quick and I like this function of it, speed is not too fast but enough for me as a student who need to transfer not more than 6 to 10 GB files.

IF YOU CONNECT YOUR DRIVE 2-3 DIFFERENT DEVISES.... This is a very good product. USB 3.0 supported. It gives around 80 if connected in USB 3 port in USB 2.0 the speed drops around 20-30 which eventually slow but much faster than normal 2.0 pen drives. So, overall good one. Disappointed with the delivery of Flipkart. Would expected more quick delivery.
