I brought this mouse just when I started playing MMM games but eventually it can also be used as an all purpose mouse. Programmable bottoms are great and eas to reach. Instant dpi change is also helpful but i dont use them as there is an option to to pre-set 3 memory settings according to different games or task. After 4 years I know it may sound unnatural but its working fine with some wear and tear. Tough Im using a different mouse now but I still have some great memories and plug in when want to cherish them.

The Logitech G300 is a perfect gaming companion with DPI of 2500. The scrolling is Smooth; at the bottom thanks to the mousefeets, the mouse glides though i recommend using it on a mouse pad/mat ie. appropriate surfaces The best part is, it has on board memory and 9 Programmable Buttons, u can save 3 profiles which you can define as per user requirements, though u would require the Logitech Gaming Software for editing them. Once Defined & Save , these stay put on the onboard memory so, its basically plug and play when u connect it to multiple PC, Laptop without losing the mouse settings. You can do DPI shift,Polling Rate through buttons on the mouse itself, accessibility to this feature is nice. The Mouse also has a nice rubber grip at sides, so it doesn't slip through your hands, due to extreme gaming or continuous use. The Fancy feature is the LED lighting at the sides, now these are really cool, used to denote the mouse profile you are on, plus u can choose your own LED colour. Now by using The Logitech Gaming Software, you can save settings on the mouse as well as the PC memory and use the Profiles from whichever memory you like, though the software you can define almost 12 profiles on your PC (Defined as per Game or Programs)+ 3 on the Mouse. Not Forgetting the changeable LED lighting, or you could just turn it off, which probably one would never. Not forgetting this product is backed by Logitech Service Support, one of the best in India, Plus the warranty is about 3 yrs more than any other product u'll find. The only Down side is the wire(Just an Opinion), it could have been a braided cable, instead of conventional wire

If you are a beginner and on a low budget, this mouse is definitely for you! Always keep in mind, this a Logitech product and thus is a standard and good quality product. The mouse is quite ergonomic and comfortable to use. It's ambidextrous, so you don't need to worry if you are a lefty or righty. The rubber on the side gives you good grip and the hexagonal honeycomb pattern makes it more cool. The top has a black matte finish which is better than it's older version G300. The base is cyan. On both the edges it has a strip of lighting which can be changed (you will get a limited amount of primary colours). The mouse has got 9 programmable buttons which you can customize as per your needs. You also don't need to worry about the extra buttons if you don't want to use them as they'll never get in your way while clicking the basic buttons. It also has a good range of dpi. Final words - It looks cool. It is totally worth the price you pay. It is a good starter mouse for a beginner and will support you for a long time. Using it since 1 month now Pros 1.Compact, it fits easily for any hand size 2. buttons on mouse not on side [GG for RPG/hero shooter] 3. 250-2500 dpi a large scale for user to get comfortable 4 Stores 3 [DPi/button programmed] profiles in mouse itself , no need to open the software again and again , and there is a dedicated button to switch between them 5 Much more minor points Cons 1. Programable Buttons not on side [needed for FPS] 2. Optical mouse not laser , it is as fast as lazer but still. Best mouse for beginners as well as Pros , loved it totally worth the money
