This is a fantastic monitor for general purpose use and photo editing. Bright and accurate colors. people editing photos on an non-calibrated laptop, would immediately notice the difference. I am presently using connecting my laptop with a HDMI cable( this cable doesnt come with the box) and very satisfied. As usual ,amazon gave an impeccable delivery.Con - only one, the sound output isnt great, else this is a great product at a reasonable price

Im using this for professional content creation and Moba gaming. Im not sure about the FPS games. As this is primarily a content creator friendly monitor, high fps and refresh rate hungry hardcore gamers look elsewhere. I have been using this monitor for almost 10 months now. I bought this in a different retail store, the first monitor i got was faulty and went kaput in a month. But Benq team was fast and responsive, they just replaced the faulty monitor with a new one, since then no complaints, works great,. 10 months back the market for 2k (1440p) monitor was non-existent in india. i was searching like a mad man for a 2k monitor, and finally found one in Richie street in chennai. But now its good to see even 4k monitors are available for as low as 25k.high res monitors are a boon for professional content creation. Gaming monitors have high fps and high refresh rates, so the color accuracy takes a big hit due to the usage of different panel type (VA ), you wont get the contrast and color accuracy of an IPS panel in a va gaming monitor. for casual gaming and Moba games and movies this is a great buy. know the following before buyingPros:great color reproduction and accuracyvery minimal reflectivitygreat contrasta slew of picture modes to suit our needs(for ex: visibility in CAD software , movie mode for good color balance, dark areas in game can be made well lit for easier gaming experience)Cons:This is more of a 2k res monitor cons than Benq monitor's.Actually this monitor has no cons so farthe 2k screen is not very optimal for browsing or video games 1. you get white bars on either side while browsing (google, youtube, etc) 2. texts appear small everywhere 3. ingame cursor appears very small, i play a lot of League of legends, missing the cursor position in tense moments makes you miss skill shots and targets. (so i set the game res to 1080p and the problem was resolved)The above cons are less significant in a 27inch 1440p monitor. but for me 24 inch is already big.28inch 4k > 27inch 1440p > 24 inch 1440p
