One of most underrated phones! Great value for money from a brand like LG! Superb display (better than some OLED panels), smooth performance (on this 6gb version), awesome speaker (probably the best mono speaker on a smartphone), great cameras (wide angle camera works dope), sleek and compact (easy for one handed operations). Only drawbacks are battery life and updates from LG (and yes that cartoonish user interface). But barring this it's a compelling deal. Best bang for money at 40k. A must buy!
Terrific purchase

This was the best decision I made, buying the LG G7 over OnePlus 6. The features are what makes this phone worth over the competitors. The display is beautiful. If you are a person who has used AMOLED screens for your smartphones then trust me you wouldn't miss it because LG has provided the best IPS screen you can find. This supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10 so the quality of the screen is brilliant. The camera s are very good, you cannot compare them to the Pixel 2 but then again very few cameras even come close to the Pixel 2. the wide angled camera feature is unique and most useful. Performance wise it's as smooth as any Qualcomm 845 handset. The loudspeaker is something to behold. I cannot describe the sound it produces you have to see it in action. The durability is also excellent, I did drop it once and nothing not even a scratch. Would definitely recommend this over the ASUS ZenFone 5Z and OnePlus 6 if you have the budget else you won't go wrong with either of those phones either. Keep in mind LG after sales service is better than the other two.

This is an excellent phone, with best price to performance ratio.
Display: Excellent resolution with 563 PPI, best in class White levels and excellent Black levels too (similar to Amoled) no regrets on not having an amoled screen at all.
Battery: People are worried fir it having just 3000 mah batter, however, despite being just 3000 mah it is very well optimized by LG and easily lasts a full day with my heavy usage.
Performance: I guess this need not be discussed, having a SD845 and 6GB ram it handles everything thrown at it very smoothly. Graphics in Games are amazing with no lags whatsoever.
Durability: It's IP68 rated along with MIL-STD military grade rating which confirms that it lasted even with ruggedisation testing. Also, it looks absolutely premium in hand with its sleek looks, p.s. I have purchased platinum colour variant.
Camera: Wont go in detail here, as there are many reviews already available online, just like to say it's awesome and can beat many flagships easily including OP6 in calrity and detailing.
Sound: BoomBox is really worth, as it goes crazy loud when kept on a hard surface, Surround sound is okay, however, the magic is the Quad DAC. It produces very detailed and balanced sound with crisp highs, shiny vocals and amazing low ends. It really stands face to face with my dedicated DAP FiiO X7 ii (with X7 having better soundstage ofcourse) which is worth 50K alone.
Blindly go for it over OP6, Samsung S9 etc and save some bucks.
Thanks for reading, g7 really deserves such elaborated reviews as it's most underrated flagship phone of 2018 despite being the best.

This phone is underrated.
I was pretty much done with the choice of one plus 6 but it never hit the mark for me, for a phone, i need a whole package and not just the "speed."
Although i won't be comparing this phone with the op6 or any other flagship, i am just going to tell you it's true worth.
1. Camera - Not an expert at all but it's a really good camera and the super bright mode does help in low lightning but there's still a long way to go to quite hit the spot. (8/10)
2. Display - Don't expect it to be as vibrant as an amoled. nonetheless this is the most pleasing screen I've ever seen in my life, even at its peak brightness it wouldn't protrude your eyes. (10/10)
3. Performance - This thing is snappy as hell and as of now i haven't faced any issues whatsoever. (10/10)
4. Battery - Well well, not entirely a deal breaker but yes you'll need a power bank at all times. (6/10)
5. Sound - Budget earphones simply won't do justice to the amazing audio capabilities of this phone, so i suggest you to buy a decent pair and the ones that come with the packing are not brilliant. (You will miss the stereo speaker setup but the single-firing speaker is LOUD.) 9/10 ((you'll have to get used to the how vigorously this phone vibrates when at its highest volume setting))
Software - i don't know why people lg blame so much, it's totally fine. minimum bloatware, decent features but some of them are gimmicky. The only concern for some of you guys would be the update regularity, as such for me, never really bothered (innovations never stop). (7/10)
Design - Not a fan of glass bodies but i guess we'll have to accept it now. There's a bluish tinge to the black colour and is really quirky and pleasant (i mean an all black design is just bland). Build quality is top-notch,no compromises done here. (8/10)
Additional features - ip68, boombox, wireless charging, hifi quad dac, wide angle etc etc etc.....
(and yes the vibrating motor on this thing is insane!!!!!!!)
If any of you guys are having 'brand value' concerns. come on! it's 2018 guys. A company simply can't survive in today's time because of the competitiveness if they deliver sluggish products. If you like, simply go for it.
I hope i helped you. :D
