2 GB ram enough for regular use.
Front Camera: Superb
Rear Camera : Not That great but good, low light pics are granny
In Day light awesome it click super images
No. of modes for clicking images that is pretty good.
Battery last enough for a day with a internet on whole day, listing music, phone get heated when you watch 2,3 you tube videos but its not too much heating.
Display : very nice you can read text in direct sunlight.
Lots of preloaded apps which regularly ask for updates.
Overall nice phone .

I am writing this review after 1 week of usage. I bought this phone for my wife (loves selfies) as her birthday gift and she totally loved it.
First of all, Thank You Flipkart for delivering it earlier than the delivery date provided. The product I received was intact with good Packing and delivery.
Pros:
1) Awesome Front Camera. Selfie lovers need not have any second thoughts. It has so many features included with the front camera like - Beautification mode, HDR, Panorama, Low light mode, Night Mode, etc., etc. It takes more than a day to explore all those options. As if that's not enough, you have options to enhance the image even after capturing. And the Laser Autofocus works really great, you can achieve almost instant focus even on low-light conditions.
2) ASUS UI. Even though it takes some time getting used to, but once you pass that barrier, you'll love it. It has a lot of customization options and shortcuts, you can totally alter the UI to your preference.
3) Display. The 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with Gorilla Corning Glass 4 is definitely worth a mention. Display is crisp and sharp. Good visibility even under direct sunlight.
4) Snapdragon 615 Octa-core Processor and 2GB RAM. The processor handles great for normal operation. There is about 1.2 GB free RAM which can be utilized for running apps. Around 5~6 apps can be run parallely without much hassle.
5) Asus Tools. The phone is preloaded with a ton of productivity tools and apps that can make usage easier. Battery Super Saver mode, RAM cleaner, Backup and storage Apps are worth a mention.
Cons:
1) Battery - Not so great. Just average. The 3000 MaH battery lasts only for about 6~7 hours of continued usage in 3G and LTE. It lasted for 12~15 Hours in 2G and Wi-Fi (continuous usage) which is just about OK. But the flip side is - the phone literally consumed no battery during Standby. I left the phone with 36% battery before going to bed, and I was amused to see 35% left when I woke up - Eventhough Wi-Fi was ON the whole time.
2) Not able to handle Graphic Heavy Games. I tried running Asphalt 8, and the phone got heated up pretty fast. But the heating issue is not as much as in my previous phones Micromax A350 or Lenovo A6000. Plus the heat was not intense though, just a nominal rise in temperature which is pretty common in most of Android devices. Common games like Subway Surfers, Minion Rush and Candy crush have no effect though, they were able to run pretty smooth.
3) The rear camera is not as good as the front. Pictures clicked by the front and rear cameras itself had notable differences. Images clicked using rear camera were a bit grainy and not so good at low-light conditions.
Overall, this is a phone meant for great selfies, not for heavy usage. Decent specs at a decent price. It would've been a steal had it been priced a grand or two lesser. Cannot be compared with flagships like the One Plus Two or the Nexus 6, but definitely at par with likes of Moto X Play or J7 and a must for Selfie Lovers !

I got the mobile within 2 days with an excellent packing. I really impressed with the sleek design. Look of the mobile is so nice. I used it for about a week. No heating issue, no hanging. Battery life is decent. Camera clarity is good in good lighting but in dull lighting it forms grains. On the whole for the price the mobile is excellent to buy.

flipkart sucks..what used to be its USP is not there any more.i bought this in the bog billion sale....never got the delivery but on flipkart it was showing delivered. on raising my concern i was told that as per their recprd it i delivered and that is final and asked me to place order again...on further escalating this and wasting hours on th phone...finally got the product on 2nd nov....flipkart...please sudhar jao....else i am staying away....there are other sellers in the market too remember that

It is indeed a good phone. 13 MP front camera is good for selfie, one gets high quality pictures. 128 GB expandable memory is indeed a bonus. Now one does not have to worry about the storage space and can shoot photos and videos endlessly so to say, apart from carrying a huge collection of audio, video files. The only negative side of this phone is that it is slow when it comes to the performance.

I have been using The phone for more than 6 months & it is performing well though battery life is poor and beside the heating issue all are nice. Camera is very nice in this price range. Low light pictures n videos are coming nice. Very cozy to use by one hand.

I purchased asus zenfone selfie 16gb internal and 3 gb ram mobile on dec 2016, but since past 2 month i am facing volte/wifi/data not enabling and i submitted mobile to service center in bagampet, hyderabad and registered complaint, they kept my mobile for 7days and said that motherborard issue and after 10days said that they replaced motherboard and given me, on the sport i checked but i found while i am calling to any network form relience jio volte, network, data automatically getting desabled and call becomes disconnected, i told the same thing on the same day but they said that its problem from jio end, so i left for that day, but i come to know that the problem is not form jio side because i tried the same sim on another mobile thats working fine, again i consult the asus service center bagampet, hyderabad branch again they received the complaint by saying, it is a motherboard problem and need to replace motherboard, but its already 2 weeks passed, while i am calling to service center, they are always saying that we didnt receive part yet and says dont know how many days it will take to receivecthe part, i said i will post on social media and i will go for consumer case, then the service center people said to go ahead with very rude behavior,they said do what ever you can. Since 1 month i am without cell phone, such a careless people in asus service center, the worst service i ever seen. With in a warranty period i visited service center this many time, though this is under warranty period i dont need to pay money, once warranty period will expire for every time i need to pay around 7000/- rs for motherboard replacement, i feel waste of purchasing asus phone worst service i ever seen, i want permanent solution, better should replace with a new asus zenfone selfie handset......worst company is ASUS, waste of money,
