Good SDHC Memory Card for Camera
By Soumenduon
It is very good for any type of camera which supports SDHC Cards. It's price is low for a buyer. Card's read & write speed also better as a class 4 card.
Good Read speed
By Abhay Kallaon
Great product at an amazing price. The data read speed actually is greater than that of transcend 8GB class 10 memory card. In my tests data write speeds turned out well above 4mbps which is great. You can't get a better 8gb class 4 at this price.
Great
By Ashwin V Menonon
Bought it for 490 last month, which I believed was an awesome price, Now the price has gone down a bit and the awesomeness continues. Go on buy it for your digi or handy and you will not regret it. And awesome job by flipkart.
Excellent 8GB SDHC From Transcend
By Arun Chandra Laskaron
I bought it for my Intex 2425W 2.1 Multimedia Speakers. It works fine on my
Speakers & now I am enjoying it.
Once again Ten Points to note about the card -
1. Best for any Point & Shoot Digital Camera & Handicam
2. Best for storage & data transfer like Pen drives
3. Can be used on any Multimedia Speakers having SD/MMC port
4. Plug & Play SDHC Card
5. One of the best Class 4 SDHC card
6. Limited Lifetime Warranty from Transcend
7. Price is a bit higher than Sandisk SDHC cards
8. Data transfer rate depends on the type of Card Reader you use
9. I found the write speed about 750 kbps which is very very bad. But
I think a good quality Card Reader will provide the write speed of 4 to 5 mbps
10. Overall a good quality SDHC card from Transcend
Perfect for your P&S camera
By Narayanan Srinivasanon
This is a great product at this price band. It was perfectly packed on a small carton box and was delivered the next day. Peeled of the transcend package without a knife. Thanks to its innovative idea of perforated lines that makes it easy to take out and use it right from the fist moment!!
Thanks to Flipkart and Transcend.
Note: Transcend's competitors doesnt have this easy to open packaging, which would definitely require a knife or scissor to open. So please think if you would really have to go for those when transcend is available.
A cheap and best solution
By Siggy Simonon
This is a great and simple solution for all ppl wanting to use on a point and shoot camera... Its cost effective and fast enough for that. But if you need to use it for a dslr with multi shots in seconds i recommend going for a class 10 memory card...
General Info about MicroSD cards
By Trishit Duttaon
Well, we alredy know wat that is ... its a microSDHC card.. but what most us don't see it the class... The 'HC' extension doesn't necessarily mean anything but 'high capacity'..
The class is, however, important.. It defines the speed.. its an easy estimation that class 2 will give minimum 2MBps write, class 4 will give 4MBps write n so on.. read speeds are usually way more than that... now.. If you just buy a class 10 card and use it with an average phone ( say Samsung Galaxy Y) ,you wont get the speeds defined as those phones can not handle these speeds..
Also buy a high end phone (say Samsung galaxy S4 or Xperia Z Ultra) and use a class 2 card.. you get most of your HD videos almost stutter to death.. Moreover as today's smartphones get more camera capability (say 10+ 12MP shots in a second or high-def high-bitrate recording), it is absolutely necessary to get a fast card...
A rule of thumb.. class 4 is the best for mid-range phones.. class 6 is better suited for high end phones..Another specification is UHS-1 which typically costs as much as a class 10 card, is also suited for high end phones..
So mind the class while buying a card.. also the warranty is equally important as MicroSD cards are very likely to get corrupted..5 years manufacturer warranty is good enough..

Transcend Memory Card MicroSDHC 8GB Class 4 Review
By Mohan Dabason
first of all, hats off to flipkart!! placed order on the 13th of feb, received delivery on the 15th!! just two days!! the delivery is very efficient, and timely.
about the product, why you should buy this:
1. the price is way lower than what you would get at any shop, vendor or showroom (around rs 500 at least).
2. it is the original product, as it comes with the manufacturers warranty.
3. class 4 is enough for the present handsets available in india, and class 6 and higher will be an overkill.
4. my phone (nokia e5-00) has no problem, and is working without lag with this memory card.
5. the read-write speeds are good, and there is no problem in accessing photos, videos and music on the phone.
Few Thinks About the Micro SD Card's
By Panneer Selvamon
About the Micro SD Card's:
Micro SD Card are 3 Types...
1.SD (Secure Digital)
2.SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity)
3.SDXC (Secure Digital eXtended Capacity)
1.1st Type:(SD)
The first-generation Secure Digital (SDSC or Secure Digital Standard Capacity) card was developed to improve on the Multimedia Card (MMC) standard. The SD cards changed the MMC design in several ways:
Asymmetrical slots in the sides of the SD card prevent inserting it upside down, while an MMC goes in most of the way but makes no contact if inverted.
Most SD cards are 2.1 mm (0.083 inches) thick, compared to 1.4 mm (0.055 inches) for MMCs. The SD specification defines a card called Thin SD with a thickness of 1.4 mm, but they are rare, as the SDA went on to define even smaller form factors.
The card's electrical contacts are recessed beneath the surface of the card, protecting them from contact with a user's fingers.
The SD specification envisioned capacities and transfer rates exceeding those of MMC, and these have both grown over time. For a comparison table, see below.
Full-sized SD cards do not fit in the slimmer MMC slots, and there are other issues that affect the ability to use one format in a host device designed for the other.
2. 2nd Type:(SDHC)
The Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) format, announced in January 2006 and defined in Version 2.0 of the SD specification, supports cards with capacities up to 32 GB
SDHC cards are physically and electrically identical to standard-capacity SD cards (SDSC). The major compatibility issues between SDHC and SDSC cards are the redefinition of the Card-Specific Data (CSD) register in Version 2.0 , and the fact that SDHC cards are shipped preformatted with the FAT32 file system.
Version 2.0 also introduces a High-speed bus mode for both SDSC and SDHC cards, which doubles the original Standard Speed clock to produce 25 Mbyte/s.
3. 3rd Type:(SDXC)
The Secure Digital eXtended Capacity (SDXC) format, announced in January 2009 and defined in Version 3.01 of the SD specification, supports cards up to 2 TB (2048 GB), compared to a limit of 32 GB for SDHC cards in the SD 2.0 specification. SDXC adopts Microsoft's exFAT file system as a mandatory feature, although some portable devices rated for SDHC will also accept a 64GB SDXC card if it is reformatted as NTFS instead of exFAT.
The 3.0 specification also introduced the Ultra High Speed (UHS) bus for both SDHC and SDXC cards, with interface speeds from 50 Mbyte/s to 104 Mbyte/s for 4-bit UHS-I bus.
Version 4.0, introduced in June 2011, allows speeds of 156 Mbyte/s to 312 Mbyte/s over 4-lane UHS-II bus, which requires additional row of physical pins.
SDXC host devices accept all previous families of SD memory cards.
Speed CLASS rating:
Class 2 2 MB/s
Class 4 4 MB/s
Class 6 6 MB/s
Class 10 10 MB/s
UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) 10 MB/s
UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) 30 MB/s
Very Big Thanks To Flipkart.com
Very Super Product...
in this product write speed is 4 to 5 MB/s..
Working Great
By BINIL BSon
I bought this a month ago for my SonyEricsson J108i and is working great. So I gave a new order for the same for my Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Speed of this card is class 4 and my mobile handle it better.
You only need to buy class 6 / class 10 microSD cards if your phone is priced above 20K, and supports data transfer at high speed.
Or if you are planning to use the microSD card with your computer like a mass storage device you can go for class 6 or 10.
A CLASS 4 MEMORY
By ??????????FeeDz??????????on
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My Overall Opinion and User Experiences !------------------------------------------------------------------------------I bought this micro-SD flash card for my phone because my phone only came with an 8 GB one. This comes with the adapter to plug into computer. When I got it, i was just plugged it in, and it worked. Just simple like that. The quality of the card is very good for a micro-SD card with a affordable price. The best thing that i like about this product is its the only product with a lifetime limited warranty. I would love to recommend this to anyone who needs more space on their phone. With that in mind, I have to praise it for its performance and overall value for money. I slipped this card into my Contour GPS in lieu of the original 2GB card (which shipped with this 1080p capable camera), and first thing I noticed is that this card is quicker than the bundled card which was easily able to keep up with recording 1080p/30fps AND GPS data at the same time
Didn't expect from Amazon
