a good budget laptop

bought this laptop for 23750 after 2500 cash back.added 2 gb ram for 1500 and another 1000 for os (windows8) software and antivirus etc.finally for the same price ie 26250,got a core i3,4gb ram(after upgrade) got a good laptop reasonably priced.i have been using a toshiba laptop for 6 years so no doubt about the quality and the only thing that beats the value for money deal is the flipkart delivery.i recommend this for people who want a good configuration laptop within 30,000

battery backup not fare well

look-wise this product is elegant however for regular use its not recommendable due to overheating and poor battery backup. Even the keyboard are very delegate. i had to replace twice within months due to key-issue and overheating.
My Toshiba laptop

-bought a c640 for 27k.
-the build is simple with quality & no glamorous looks but the c640 has a core i3 2310m, 500GB HDD & 4GB RAM under the hood.
-it doesn't heat up at all
-keyboard is not breath taking awesome but is averagely good.
-battery life is approx. 3.5 hrs so good again
-overall system response is nice
-its a powerful, middle weight machine @ affordable price from Toshiba...m lovin it \m/ :)

First a praise for flipkart. Delivered in 4 working days and excellent package. Also around 2k cheaper than what you get in store. Performance is good and is really light weight.
If you can take care of the os and are not a diehard gamer this is the best laptop in the market.
Well look is average and camera is bad and you have to load ethetnet bluetooth and other drivers from toshiba site.
If you go for bag it is a side carry and not back carry as the one i wanted. If you need the antivirus then go for 1k extra to get a bag and antivirus but if you donot need antivirus and paying 1k for bag better donot go for that also better check for the antivirus cd which should come along with the package

Needed a support once regarding some driver files. The online support was timely and accurate.

4th gen celeron with dual core is enough for fastest browsing , less power consumption , and ok for hd movies also. you dont need to buy a 40k core i5 laptop while u dont know the extra advantage on software using these costly processors.good battery life and does not heat up with fan sound.

Since it was cheaper comparing the price in local stores, I have purchased.After 3 weeks I observed that the battery in the laptop used to discharge very fast, after further observation I found that the battery showed fully charged, and when unplugged it came down to 60% charged, and it came down within few minutes, anyway I got the battery replaced by my friend.Now it is O.K.
