Pretty much a good laptop

Pretty much a good laptop. The look and finish is quite good and the overall usage feeling is pretty much as I expected, before I bought this model. Even though it has not been many days since I used this product, I'll try to give my opinions on the product as whole.Power wise, you cannot expect anything extra ordinary. Even a laptop in the range of 40k, would have given you the same processing power as like in this laptop. Maybe things get a little smoother because of Win 10, but its not a beast. But keeping that aside, I must say that the graphic card does add a substantial amount of power to the overall performance. I have run some standard games on full spectrum and the laptop never gave up on processing power or even speed even after hours of use. Plus, the Omen cool technology did serve its purpose in keeping the laptop cool all the time when used for heavy gaming.I cannot comment much on the gaming aspect since I am not a hardcore gamer :P But I am a researcher and I bought this laptop on the sole need for number crunching and computing power. This laptop, even though not exceedingly powerful, has had given me a commendable performance. I was a bit reluctant to buy the i5 version but the HQ status led me to ultimately buy it anyways. It didn't dissapoint me ( at least uptil now). I use it regularly for number crunching programs used in top notch Bioinformatics programs. This laptop is as smooth as it can get (You can almost cut the smoothness with a knife :P )Apart from the power, its like that cool stud from your college whom everyone likes Or to say, even girls will turn around and give him a look xD . I have had instances where people would flock around me and ask if its the latest MSI or Alienware or ROG laptop (Wait until you switch on the back lit keyboard). The overall appeal is fantastic! At last I would like to mention that the specifications provided here on the site is false. You don't get a SSD hard disk nor a 1050Ti NVIDIA graphic model. When I received it, I checked the installed hardware and found out that this model had none of it. I had previously done a lot of research before buying this laptop and knew the risks involved. It has a 1050 NVIDIA and normal SATA hard disk. Must say that this model has a slot for an extra RAM and a slot for SSD hard disk, but isn't installed. So you must rely on external review since the specifications provided here is pretty much misleading.Overall, I completely love this laptop and would definitely recommend it to people. But if you are looking for more processing power, there are lot many options available out there. Since I am fan of HP and its products due to its quality and durability, I stuck to buying this product.P.S - I give a 3 star rating since the information given in the specification list is misleading. Being a seller, you cannot expect to mislead your customer with such information. This can be very frustrating! Also, Amazon should keep a check on Sellers to provide valid information about products. If we are relying on the company to buy the product even before we see it physically, the least they could do is to provide the right product information. Poor service, in this way. (But they were prompt enough to send it on time, must give them that...)
you can get laptops with specs better than hp omen series at a much lower price

f***** specs for such a price is unacceptable. Don't buy this one, you can get laptops with specs better than hp omen series at a much lower price. Take acer nitro for example or lenovo legion. The HP omen series is flashy and overpriced, if you don't believe me check for yourselves. Also just don't check on amazon only, check on different websites too like flipkart. But if you have got a lot of money then that is for you to decide to buy this or not.
