I chose to purchase this laptop because of Full HD screen. However, the screen turned out to be god awful. Colors are totally washed out, viewing angles are awful, even after perpendicular viewing, the corners lose colors on dark shades. However, the worst problem is videos look blurry, and I am talking about 1080p bluray movies. There is serious color banding, as if the color depth is 8-bit. This could be a calibration issue, gonna try a replacement from Flipkart and hope the problem is only with my laptop and not the model in general. Looks like Lenovo has put the cheapest and worst TN panel theoretically possible. Also, the keyboard is of very cheap quality, the keys are so fragile as if they might break and come out any moment. The touchpad surface is also very rough, scrolling experience is bad. Will not buy a Lenovo product ever again.

The product received in good condition and neatly packed. and the performance is good - but as the Bland offer 2 years of free extended warranty, which we registered online, later after 2 days they replied saying that the offer is not applicable as the product supplied is not from a authorised dealer.

I bought this laptop and it is good machine in this price range . 1.Design and material Solid looks, aluminum body , Fhd led screen. 2.Gameing With 16 gb expandable ram , i5 4210u processor, NvidiaGeForce GT820M and Fhd screen it is capable of doing wonders in gameing feild. Excellent Gameing experience. 3. Keybord and touchpad Full Keyboard, I touch sortcuts are nice, you can adjust volume , brightness etc directly without useing Fn .Keys are perfectly placed. Touchpad is satisfactory . Small in size but left right button are nice and saperated. Ports Mic and audiojack in one , 2 usb, 1 usb3, lan port , hdmi , printer port , sd and mmc , optical drive , kingston lock . all good and well placed. Speed All task run fast , 2 to 5 second boot time. Good experience with browsers also. Heavy multitasking no problem only if ram is extended. I am happy haveing this lapi. Pros 1. Full hd display. 2. Ram extendable to 16 gb. 3. 1 tb hard disc. 4. 720p camera. 5. GT820M graphics 6. Solid build 7. Removeable battery cons 1. Dolby speakers (only satisfactory) 2. Max 4 hour battery backup.

Overall, not bad. And I say this after 1.5 yrs of usage. This is my biggest grouse with a huge potential brand like Lenovo, since I am from IBM Thinkpad Support when it was still part of IBM. Lenovo literally screws up all its major i5-oriented laptops with brittle, sub-standard solutions. From my heavy usage, not very impressive, coming from Lenovo.Pros:1. Awesome USB 1TB HDD: This is the best deal I got out of 37990/- I paid. I had an offer and I got this, Fully satisfied.2. Bright display: Though my Z50 70 screen could break even if it falls from my hand on to my bed mattress, the display clarity is good.3. Lightweight: Easy to carry. Not much weight for a 1 TB + DVD Writer + raw processing power.Cons:1. Keypad: Very uncomfortable. Driver (touchpad) for Win 7 not available. Default driver (Microsoft) not much helpful, though it's still a life saver, otherwise I could have dumped this laptop back on Lenovo. Mouse keeps jumping as soon as I type the combo of IO (for instance, delicious). Damn frustrating.2. Battery deteriorates: After 1 yr, battery actually drops off to just over 2 hrs. Not worth your money, considering that this is a heavy priced laptop.3. Brittle design: The whole silver lining of the entire laptop's design looks flimsy, cheap and typically CHINA-ish. Well, Lenovo is Chinese you know! Right now, I'm typing from a Dell Vostro (American brand made in CHINA) and for the first time, I feel frightened about buying a brand of China. I've used 2 office Lenovo laptops before and that was 2010. They were better off, but are coming off worse nowadays.4. Scratches: Don't think the laptop won't screw up its own looks. Mine has scratches and it looks not so elegant now. Black laptops are far better, but then, Lenovo never really attempted to produce a black version of this. Or advise if I missed it.5. Windows load time: Despite Core i5, this is slower than my current Dell Vostro 3558 with Core i3 and Win 7 Ultimate again (both have same version). I shouldn't compare their threading, but then it's hard to go unnoticed that i5 has better threading capability and boot time than i3, and yet this fails to deliver.6. Dolby wasted: On this one, yes! The sound is hardly as clear as Dolby is known for. Speakers are buried deep down and this is really not helpful. I have to use headphones most of the time, which is a double waste of resources and unhelpful.Overall, a travesty from CHINA. Other Lenovo laptops might be good, but this is merely a looker and hooker.

It's a great laptop. The only draw back being the sheer size of this thing. Invest another 20 K and get a mac air? Maybe next time I'll actually do that. Weirdly, the mouse pad on this lenovo keeps hanging atleast once a day for exactly a minute. But that's not enough for me to give this machine anything lesser than 5 stars. Looks sexy and it's powerful as s***. Love it.

I had to return the laptop as primarily because of the build quality. It didn't seem to me that it will last 1 year also without warranting a repair. Keyboard is weak. You will feel like entire keyboard panel is bending down in when you press the keys. Display is not good either and it has large frame/margin which looks awkward. Basically you get a better laptop for this price in other brands. I had worked on lenovo think-pad and was expecting similar if not same quality from other series of lenovo.No comments on performance etc as I didn't use it for a day also completely.Putting 5 stars as people go only for best reviews and ignore bad reviews. Just to share my experience.
