Awesome laptop.after 2 months of usage,here's my review.. Let me give u a very clear idea about it's specs 1.It's a 1366*768,720p display,BUT u can EASILY play 4K videos,even 5K on this using KMplayer or Movies and tv.Buttery smooooth... 2.It doesn't contain original windows 10,it runs on DOS,but hey, does that even matter?? :-D,u'll have NO PROBLEM with pirated 8.1 or 10.why pay 8k for original???If u are not an original windows(emphasize on original,not windows) fanboy,then simply go for it. 3.It has 2 gb of dedicated DDR4 graphics memory,AMD RADEON M430 (GAMERS...PAY ATTENTION), which can run Tomb raider (2013) on HIGH and Hitman absolution on ULTRA.Games like CoD MW3,BATTLEFIELD 4,TOM CLANCY'S SPLINTER CEL BLACKLIST,GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER,RAINBOW SIX,NFS MW (LATEST),NFS RIVALS,FAR CRY 4,LIFE IS STRANGE,PES 2017,DEAD SPACE SERIES,MASS EFFECT SERIES,MAX PAYNE 3 are extremely fun on this lappy.U can also play GTA 5(a steady 30 fps) and THE DIVISION on low (GTA 5 even in mid) graphics settings,with moderate frameskips and without lags. You can also run the well known titles of 2015-17 like RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER (low-mid),BATTLEFIELD 1(mid),RESIDENT EVIL 7 BIOHAZARD (mid-high),DOOM(low),COD INFINITE WARFARE (low-mid),HITMAN(2016).I can assure you with ease coz I've played all of them. And this part is VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!! for gamers.If you face any problem with any game mentioned above like getting low fps and lagging problems,simply PLUG IN your laptop to CHARGING MODE,then reset settings to MAXIMIZE PERFORMANCE and BOOM!!! you won't believe your freaking eyes,coz the game will start performing 2-3 times better. 4.Four gb of DDR4 ram(Yes!!!!-_-...IT IS 6TH GEN laptop and ram is DDR4) is perfect for ur everyday work,and to play games mentioned above,but if you want to take it to the maximum level,ram can be expanded upto 16 gb.I myself have increased the ram to 12 gb and my lappy is EXTREMELY fast now. 5.It has an INTEL CORE i5 (6th gen)(GAMERS!!! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS??), clock speed is 2.3 gHz,and can be turbo boosted upto 2.8 gHz (even 3.2 gHz using msi afterburner) :-*... 6.U can use windows store,cortana and all those features simply by using patch,and can easily download games n apps from there. 7.Perfect companion for college students,specially for engineers,Smoothly runs Autocad,Matlab,data stucture and good for coding also. 8.And don't forget to manually update the drivers from hp's official website after buying this laptop.Because every single update plays an important role in boosting up the performance.Specially aftèr updating graphics and audio drivers you'll experience hell of a change... yeah,there are some cons also, 1. It is NOT a 2 in 1 laptop,i.e it doesn't contain touchscreen feature. 2.Speaker sound is not up to the mark when compared to DELL,or lenovo,but good with headphones,specially if u use original hp speakers using that 1499/- offer from hp. 3.The look of this laptop isn't that majestic, instead of a premium look they've provided that same hp orthodox fashioned one,won't be able to show off. 4.It's not backlit.Not hp's fault.You simply can't expect any laptop to be this good along with backlit feature under this price tag. still,this one's one of the most pocket friendly gaming laptop.If ur limit is 40k...close ur eyes go for this one... 1.Here the Seller has described as 1366x768 720p display but in hp website its 1080p display 2.here Graphics memory is 2gb but in hp website its 4gb 3.then what is the difference between HP AY007TX Laptop and this laptop Any one who have purchased this laptop Pls reply as early as possible I am planning to buy this laptop. 4.is the battery back up good and wat is the total number of hour backup u get.
