High performance + Good graphics + Bad display
By Prakashon
Pros: High performance and good graphicsCons : But cannot enjoy the graphics because of poor display quality. The screen looks too bright and not colorful.Worthy of 1.1L because I am very much satisfied by the high performance
Amazing product, bad seller (scratched body).
By Kuberon
Bought it from a seller called ‘Vibration’. There was a nasty scratch on the side of the laptop screen (screen not affected). Buy it from another seller maybe. The laptop itself is amazing, runs every title at 50-60fps.Only problem is heating. I’ve had to order cooling fans to counter that problem.
Good value for money

Why Should You Buy It
By DR.TAPAS MONDALon
A good laptop... if you are looking for the cheapest laptop with maximum performance, it is the ideal buy.I am a student in IIT Roorkee, and I need to do some 3d modelling, coding etc on a regular basis.Pros:The Body- Made of Aluminum (brushed), giving it a sturdy and elegant feel considering that some of the laptops with similar configurations and in an 10k price difference have plastic bodies. It's plain, with no red stripes or the ROG logo, which doesn't actually diminish the look. There is no flex. Fingerprints might appear though...Screen: A 1080p TN panel which isn't 100% color accurate(as mentioned) and doesn't have a good viewing angle too, but normally, it doesn't matter a lot( unless you do content creation and stuff). 60hz refresh rate.Performance: Well, it has i7 7700 HQ, 16 gigs of RAM(DDR4)and a 6GB gtx 1060...Need I say more?(It's awesome, really awesome by the way)On ultra setting with 1080p resolution, it devastates AAA category games with over 60 fps...Yes even it extremely demanding games like Witcher 3, GTA V, Ghost Recon, Far Cry series, Tomb Raider series etc (some may not hit 60 fps on ultra, but they hit on very high setting for sure). The Gtx 1060 is VR enabled.Battery: it is okay, I guess for a laptop this strong, 1~1.5 hr on gaming, 3~4 hr of normal net browsing and video streaming and ~5 hr at no internet use is justifiable given the brightness is set at 25% ( Still, quite bright. I personally use 10%)Storage: It actually has an additional 128 GB SSD where the OS is installed. It has two drives - C, where the OS is installed (118GB) and D, your storage(930 GB, 7200 RPM). Starts up in around 6-7 seconds. Okay...I think. Fulfills all demands for a moderate guy.Keyboard- red backlight scissor style keys. Okay response. Trackpad's accurate.Temperature- gets quite hot in the top right corner...around 70 degrees after a rigorous 4-5 hours of use (including gaming...which justifies it)Make sure you don't block the air vents. It's around 3 cm thick, and is quite heavy. You get a charging set and a set of manuals. It misses the END key (doesn't really matter) and the startup key is actually a part of the keyboard... At the top right corner. If you want a laptop good enough for a pro-mediocre gamer, or a person too much into serious 3D modelling and stuff related to that, go for it, its a bang for buck.Overall, a great buy if you care for the performance, but not too much on the screen.
Excellent Product at 90K Range !!

First of all the specifications shown in description were wrong which have been rectified now, but still miss one key spec. This laptop includes 128GB SSD with preloaded Windows 10 which is great. You can google "Asus FX60VM" and go to Asus website to see the exact specs of this laptop.Secondly, after a lot of searching and comparing I finally bought this laptop at a killer price tag. This just beats anything you throw at it, be it gaming or video editing it takes it all.Coming to the laptop here's what I LIKE:1) Excellent build quality with brushed aluminum on top. There is very less flex in the display which makes it feel sturdy. The laptop is very slim compared to its competitor gaming machines and it can be used for business purpose as well.2) Very good performance. The specifications says it all, GTX 1060 6GB of graphics is not available in any other laptops in this range, with that the i7 7th gen 7700HQ (Kabylake) processor just kills it. Any latest games you play will hit over 70 FPS with ease at High/Very high setting's (I have tested GTA 5, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Witcher 3)3) Storage: 1TB 7200RPM hardrive and a 128 Gigs SSD is excellent. You have enough space in SSD to install one game (if that takes huge space). Shutdown and Startup are merely in seconds. What seems Okay:1) Screen is a bit on dull side. Though this laptop has a TN panel and not IPS, it is a good quality panel with nice color reproduction (again we cannot compare this with the IPS but they had to keep the cost low). Horizontal viewing angles are good but the vertical angle is poor. No other laptops in this range has an IPS panel except for the high end ones.2) Keyboard is tactile and gives good feedback, but the play could have been increased since this is a gaming laptop. What I don't like:1) Temperature. The laptop gets hot (really hot :P) when you play games for log duration. I googled it to see what was the issue and found that Turbo Boost technology of CPU makes it run at highest clock speed even for slightest load which makes this laptop pin its CPU clock speed at 3.6 GHz.Solution:*) Go to power option and select any one (Preferably Balanced) and click on "change plan settings" . Then select "Advance power options", in that go to "Processor power management" and put the maximum CPU utilization to 99%. This solved the issue for me.*) Another thing I did was to reduce the core voltage of the CPU. This can be done by using Intel extreme tuning utility, you can google it to see how to do. This further brought down the temperatures. Now my laptop reaches a maximum of 85* Centigrade under heavy load which is good but not great. I am still looking for ways to bring it down.2) Battery Backup: With a 64Whr battery you cannot expect more, gaming gives you aroung 1.5 Hrs of backup while normal browsing and video streaming gives up to 4 hrs. Again this is a gaming laptop cannot complain much. All said, for the price paid (86K after discount and exchange offer) this is just Bang for Buck.Hit the like button if you agree. Cheers (Y)
