I read a few reviews here, and was really not happy going for this laptop. Most reviews are not really believable and were negative. Albeit I took a risk, and purchased this notebook, only because I wanted the cheapest 8GB Windows 10 laptop costing around 30K. I got it for 33K, while the next best one HP is 40K. I've been using this for a week, and I must say it's pretty good. The videos and pictures are relatively smooth in opening and playing, the device boots in around 10 seconds and shuts down even faster. That's good for me. It's got 1000 GB hard disk, partitioned as 500- 500 GB, good for storage. I had issues with HP earlier connecting to Wi-fi, so I had returned to Flipkart who returned full money. This notebook has absolutely no issues till now, and I'm very happy about it. It's also got 2 years warranty, and I've registered it online without hassles. The finish of the notebook is also far better than HP's, and has got all useful ports and DVD. The charge stays put 3.5 hours to 4 hours of continuous heavy use on battery. The keyboard looks excellent and the keypads are a joy to type in with easy flow. The mouse trackpad is quite big and comfortable supporting many gestures. Even the display is good enough for my everyday use, though nowhere near to my Apple's MacBook display. Useful add-on softwares are mostly available on Windows Store installed. I use a Targus mouse connected on USB 2.0 port, which is convenient while working on with graphics and Word Processor for fine adjustment. Tried IMO yesterday- video was fine. Music is awesome. For 33K, it's good enough deal. The laptop is an old one manufactured in 2015, MRP 40500. They might have reduced price only because it's old.

the product is good at some aspects but was a bit slow in starting and as a month passed It got worse......gaming is good ,decent grapics gr8 display and awful keyboard .....I strictly recommend u not to go for this product.....go for a laptop with a better processor

i am proud of my decision to purchase this ASUS product. So far my experience is amazing, battery stay for really longer time, display is terrific and look is elegant....I can't ask for more at this price.

I got it for the same price as any Asus laptop with 4 GB RAM (33990). It is a beauty....brown mirror like top panel with a silver matt finish area around the keys, which do not show any finger smudges.Cons: 1) There was an issue with the @ (shift+2) and " keys being interchanged. Also, the #(shift+3) key was producing £ as output. This was resolved by changing the keyboard from United Kingdom English to English International keyboard. While using the laptop for the first time, please opt for default keyboard and language settings, since it seems that this setting cannot be changed later.2) The DVD drive would make clicking noises but not open. I figured out that the DVD writer panel extends to the bottom of the laptop, hence on lifting the laptop slightly, the drive opened immediately. I was about to return the laptop for a defective drive....so this solution came just in time.3) There is no backup CD/DVD of Windows 10 or any software or drivers. Even the manuals are very basic.4) USB ports and especially the Ethernet port is quite tight fitting. The Ethernet port is located next to the power cable connector. It is covered partly, before inserting the Ethernet cable, gentle pull the cover downwards and carefully insert the connector. It may require some firm force.5) The power cable is quite short, especially the section between plug and adaptor.6) As given by other reviewers for Asus laptops, this too doesn'tsnt have an indicator for caps lock, numb lock or scroll lock. The keys are not backlit.7) There are a number of preinstalled programs of Asus, McAfee etc, which may be slowing down the system. I'll update the review after using the laptop for a month or soPROS: 1) The delivery was very quick.2) The machine is a beauty....very esthetic. The keyboard area is smudge proof.3) The sound is quite good as compared to my previous laptop. It is clear and loud enough for watching movies.4) Overall it works like my old laptop with the similar configuration. I'll update further pros after using the system for some more time.

excellent laptop .. 2 usb 3.0 , gr8 battery life .. excellent luks .. premium laptop .. after using it for 3 months everyday atleast 10-12 hrs I can surely say this is the best below 40k laptop .. display is also beautiful and sound I have not seen such a fantastic sound in any laptop ..inshort it's more than value for money . 4th gen i3 ok it doesn't matter much .. config is cool and it's premium laptop .. no heating issue even when kept on bed as exhaust is on screen side like macbooks .. so use it anywhere ..full marks to amazon delivery also .. as amazon always cares for their customers - I prefer amazon only ..
1.7 GHz not enough, 1 year battery life, viewing angle problem

After using it for 1.5 years. The battery problem arose after 1 year even after I always used it while plugging in. The screen started flickering below 60% battery. 1.7 GHz processing speed is bad in its price range.. and it's gives out bad performance on heavy use Like copying and pasting on external harddisk.severe viewing angle problem, though most of the laptop have it. Do not buy any laptop with internal battery.
