The laptop is good for everyday use and I am not finding any major issues with it. Just that I miss any notification lights on the panel. I mean there are no LED indicators on the front like Power blink, wifi etc. and sometimes it is difficult to judge if laptop is open or shut down when the display is off..
I think Asus should work on this on newer models. Other than that, a farily competitiv product and I got a very good deal on Flipkart.
Asus A555* series is a Perfect buy.

I got this laptop from authorised asus showroom and writing this review after 2 weeks of usage.
I got it for 27500/- from asus showroom instead of online order, so that I could get the accesories(Airtel 4g card with 6GB data, 8gb Pendrive, Backpack, Asus Mouse, screen scratchguard,keyboard guard,screen cleaner)
I have owned Dell n5110 and Mac Book Pro Retina before buying this laptop.
I installed ubuntu on it.
Pros:
-Icecool Technolology in this laptop really works. even my MCB used to get heat upto near 60 degree near magsafe. ( AS per my experience low heat means long life ).
-The configuration of this laptop is the topmost that you can get at this price.
-Build quality and design looks good. Feels really sleem and light.
-Touch pad is wide and smart gestures work really well.
Cons:
Cons for this model can be easily ignore as they are not show stopper.
-No backlit keyboard.
-Screen quality (May be because I have got used to MCB)
-Some special function buttons (Airplane Mode, screen)

Pros:
-Hard disk can be made as many partitions as you want during first time format which is not the same in any other laptop.
-Processor is fantastic. No lagging at all. Booting speed also too good(I have installed windows 10).
-coming to heating issue,pretty damn cool because of ice cooling technology. It doesn't even heat when compared to my smartphone.
-Display is awesome.
-2 USB 3.0 ports are worth enough. Copying speeds are too good.
-coming to sound,sonic master done a fantastic job. Output is good just like in lenovo laptops and quality is also good. Only thing is u need to update drivers till date.
-Battery: Without any sounds,I am able to get 4hr 30mins of Usage which is pretty good when compared with other laptops. While watching movies,i am able to get 3hr 30mins of usage. Very much satisfied.
-Finishing of the product is really awesome. Quality is too good. Looks will steal ur heart.
-Packing style of the laptop is very good. We can carry it with out hands to anywhere. One thing to be specifically mentioned is about the charger. It makes u feel like a Smart phone charger with bit larger adapter. No separate cables needed.
-2yrs Global warranty is the biggest advantage especially about this model. Even if u travel abroad,u can carry this without hesitation.
Cons:
Couldn't find anything as of now. Will update when I get in the upcoming days.
