Pros:
1.Top Notch build quality looks tough and stylish
2.keyboard is good backlit with good amount of distance between keys typing is fun very silent to type
3.good for gaming and watching content
4.creating content is a minor task for it
5.Screen is the best you can find at this price point and also higher prices for example all the models like dell,msi,asus use a tn panel this one has a IPS which has awesome viewing angles and the color reproduction is great love watching movies on this display.it is better than ips used in dell 7567 and asus vivobook s15
6.trackpad is accurate.
7.battery when tweaked with intel battery modes gives a good battery about 5 + hours of usage in wifi and normal task gaming maximum 1hr can be expected.
8.720p web camera quality is good in comparison with other brands.
9.Coolboost really works.
10.Weight distribution is very well done the laptop is just 2.48kg and feels very light 2.7kg with the charger.
11.No throttling even on high temperatures of 60-65celsius.
Overall an awesome package considering the price point.
Cons:
1.you have to get adjusted with the left and right click
2.right shift key and the upper arrow keys are to close sometimes i miss type as i try to press shift but as it is shorter than normal the up arrow key gets pressed not a big issue still need to get adjusted.
3.fans work but make a loud noise when in process feels like an engine inside a laptop never heard such loud fans in any laptop (loud only when on load but in daily task you cant even hear fans they are quite )
4. left side of the keyboard gets heated up more as their is no ventilation in the left and the two fans are situated on the right though they are placed together the temperatures are not deal breaker they are normal and heats less than asus fx series

its the screen literally wow so crispy color accurate with good contrast and brightness levels
Go for the i5 if you cannot bare heating at all i5 is normal and cooler than i7 7700hq

*Looks good and build quality is also great.
* The i7 7700HQ under the hood is just awesome at this price.
*I bought it for 61k
*GTX 1050 2GB GPU has enough fuel to run all the latest triple A titles at med to high setting at around 60FPS.
* Keyboard is gud and typing and gaming in it is awesome. The backlight of the key also looks gorgeous.
*View angles of the 1080p screen is amazing. It's IPS display makes it sharp and crisp too.
*Sound is of great quality. Not too loud though.
*Never get overheated under high CPU load or gaming.
*The track pad is gud and also supports different gestures.
->Cons
* The lap lacks an ssd ??
*The hdd is only 5200RPM. So an SSD upgrade is a must if u want to squeeze out the perfomence of the other hardware parts. The HDD is a huge bottleneck for the laptop
*Many unnecessary Bloatwares that can slow your laptop. Just uninstall all that stuff.
*Comes with a windows 10 home edition, not pro.
Im not saying much about the batterylife as i got it today only.Overall the laptop is excellent at this price point and u can buy it without any concern.It's the best bank for the buck. But the 5.2k rpm hdd is the worst part and u should consider upgrading to at least a 128gb ssd to install windows.

This isn't a Laptop...Its a Superhero Amazing High Speed, Graphics Mind Blowing, I dont have words to express how cool this stuff is.
But Yes Its a "Delicate Darling ;-)"
Must Go for this laptop Dont have second Thought.
Secondly You need a bag which fits this laptop as I saw bags from 1K-10K but it doesnt fits in even if bag companies mentions.
So its preferable not to buy bag online as I even checked a bag for 17" but this monster didnt went inside

This is a very good laptop considering the specs. I am delighted with the experience so far. I am keying in my comments after 10 days of usage. Subject to edits later on.
Pros:
1. Good 1080p HD display for the value with decent brightness and good build design overall.
2. Decent performance with 16GB RAM and core i7 processor.
3. Steady FPS with GTX1050 for demanding games like witcher 3, Arkham knight in medium to low graphics settings in full hd resolution.
4. Sound quality is quite clear. Really good for watching movies, media content and gaming with no compromise to sound quality. Thanks to Dolby premium.
5. Cool boost and blue shield reduction are really good to have features from Acer.
6. Windows 10 in 128 GB SSD ensures fast booting and shutting down say 4-5 seconds.
Cons:
1. No laptop bag or any other accessories provided.
2. Somewhat attractive for fingerprint smudges.
3. Some say that interior thermal design with two fans located close to each other is not an apt design for gaming laptops as it is good to have fans in two ends to ensure sufficient cooling.
So I am not putting my laptop to strain initially. Playing most games in HD resolution with low to medium graphics settings. So no issues in FPS or heating so far.
So this is a general observation I am putting in as con for other buyers to choose as per their liking if thermal design is a factor.
General verdict - For a frequent business traveller who does casual gaming occasionally, but seriously though and focuses on multimedia content during leisure time, this Acer Nitro 5 is an ideal pick considering the price value.
Edit 1-
1.Battery backup with 10% brightness, coolboost off, WiFi on, battery optimization feature turned on and keeping the screen on doing some casual stuff, the laptop lasts for 2-3 hours maximum. When gaming it lasts around 45 minutes to an hour.
2. Switching off the power supply when gaming, instantly reduces the fps from 60 to 25, due to Nvidia power optimization setting.
3. Surprisingly no heating at all when gaming with coolboost on. Cpu temperature when gaming reaches 67 to 75°C and GPU temp steadily under 65°C, when running games like witcher 3 , assassins Syndicate in low graphics at 1080p resolution. FPS is easily between 55-60 with such low graphics settings in 1080p.
