Hi, I am using this product since more then 1 year. Below are few points of my experience.
Pros :-
1> The backlight of the keyboard is great. You can increase or decrease its brightness according to your need.
2> It does support windows 8 as it's not mention in specification section.
3> The battery life is great. It also depends on your usage. You can turn off backlight in day and switch it On in night.
4> Hand proximity detection is really great and it increases battery life. It works fine till now after 1 year.
5> Keys are amazing. I was finding little difficulty in start as I am sued to laptop keys but soon got adjusted to it.
6> The rechargeable usb works fine and is of good quality material like the keyboard.
7> The 2.4 Ghz wireless covers a larger area and you can also used it when you connect laptop to television. The wireless keyboard works absolutely fine with greater distance.
8> The unifying receiver sofwatre pairs your device within no time and it's easy.
9> Guys I have LogitechT400Wireless Optical Mouse and have reviewed that too on snapdeal, do check it. Both keyboard and mouse has unifying receiver but you don't have to use both separately. Go to Logitech site mention on product and download SetPoint software and then you can use one receiver for both keyboard and mouse . That's amazing and it works absolutely fine.
10> The keyboard is well built and illuminates properly. You can see each and every key in night.
11> There is ON-OFF switch on keyboard through which you can save battery when not needed.
12> The keyboard when not needed can be kept in vertical positioning thus saving space.
Cons -:
1> The only 1 thing which few users need to take notice is the weight. The other wireless keyboard which does not have backlight are too light to handle but incase of this one its little on heavy side.
I've been using this keyboard since 6 months now, i've used wireless keyboards from Microsoft in the past.
The Good:
- Very responsive keys with sufficient tactile response
- It's a delight to type on this keyboard
- Backlight feature is great
- Good range
- The included charging cable (standard micro USB), is long and includeds a winding strap. Can be even used to charge mobiles :-)
- The reviever is a unified receiver which means you can use the same one for multiple Logitech devices.
The Bad:
- Logitech claims a 10 days battery life, but it's nowever that figure. It's at most 2-3 days
But when comparing to other wireless keyboards we need to consider that the backlight also consumes a lots of power contributing to the low battery life.
It's advisable to switch off the keyboard using the (easily accesible) switch , when not in use to conserve battery.
And the Ugly: I got the Red indicator (Battry dead), but i persisted on charging, and finally it worked. The keyboard has an inbuilt Ni-MH battery (Standard AA size), this can actually be changed by the user , though not easy. Actually it's not intended to be changed by the user.
You may get the battery dead warning many times.
In any case it's better than the Microsoft Wireless offering
Pros
* Extremely easy to use
* almost silent key press
* backlit keys, can work in dark
Cons
* poor battery life if you keep backlit on permanently, otherwise will work for days.
* hard to press function keys with additional function support.

I got this keyboard around 9 months back and was very excited and happy with it. Just a couple of days back all of a sudden 5-6 keys stopped working. The non working keys keep on typing dots on notepad or wherever clicked on. Totally pissed off. Moral of the story is, Ultimately you dont need extra features if the basic needs are not met!!! Logitech come on... make some good products rather than this kind of chinese items!!! :P
Its an excellent keyboard for working in dark environment (except being unnecessarily heavy), but after paying 7000 odd rupees, after 1.5 years, its membrain has problems and cannot be repaired. My technician told me I'll have to buy a new one.
