Make heavy unbearable sound

I bought this mixer grinder after reading some reviews online and I'm surprised that no body pointed out it's unbearably loud sound or is it just the one I bought is a defective one. I was so embarrassed in front of guests at my home while using it and they have suggested to go for a replacement as there is something really wrong with this product to make such a loud noise especially when it is brand new. I will now have to call the customer care team and find a way to fix this problem.

Very nice mixer. The chutney jar is bigger than the usual jars which is something I love. I wanted to try the lesser jars model to see if I need the others. Fewer jars = lesser space.

This is a very good mixer grinder. While many of the mixers I looked at had two jars for grinding and one big jar which can be used only for blending, all three jars of this mixer can be used for wet grinding. I have a Prestige mixer and its blender jar can be used only for whipping milk shakes or things like that. I could not even puree tomatoes for juice. The large jar in this Preethi mixer is good enough for wet grinding, which is perfect for me. The medium jar is somewhat small, but I spoke to the Preethi service centre and they had a 1 Lt jar which I bought. Then this becomes the perfect mixer. Prompt and efficient delivery by Amazon. Preethi service is excellent. The small jar was defective .The lid did not close properly. Took it to the service centre with the bill and warranty card and they replaced the SS part of it.

Noise is not too high. Pretty good in this aspect and very acceptable. Old mixers used to be around 400W but this is a higher powered machine (nearly double the power) at 750W. Hence, when you compare the noise to your old mixers, take this point into consideration. My old mixy was a 400W panasonic brand which has the same noise level as this preethi brand which is 750W. This should be acceptable in general.All jars don't have preethi logo or name on it. I wonder if it is made by them. It Seems Like Little Low Quality. No too happy with this. Preethi must have outsourced the peripheral items(jars, lids, handels etc) to another company and hence there is no branding on these items. I doubt the quality of these items as it has a cheap look to it.gasket/rubber of the jar cover/lid is completely useless. It will tear off just by touching it. It is of very very poor quality. It even does not prevent leaks if there is an overflow.Motor (main body) seems to be of good quality made by preethi. The main mixy body looks stylish and elegant. It is of leaf shape and i loved the design. I truly loved it. The color choice is also my personal favourite.Gridning/mixing work done is pretty decent and satisfactory. No complaints here at all.But I wonder if the entire product is worth 3k rupees, while many mixers are available for 1.5k rupees itself. I hope the increased cost will be made up with good after sales servicing. This is very important to have trust in the brand. I really hope the product lasts long, but if at all there is a problem, we need to get hassle free service.The flexi-lid is a good addition to adjust 1.5L jar into 1L jar.I would give the product a 3.5 out of 5. And hats off to amazon for lower prices.

Preetis quality has Worsened... Too loud and small jars lid too tight to open

I have been using preethi ecochef plus since last 7 years. It wasn't perfect. I had to repair the Bush of the mixie every 4 months. After a while I bought extra and put them handy because when you use it for more than 10 minutes it would heat up and the Bush would melt. Also the sound was horrible. It got too loud and I bought this new version of blue leaf. Now I feel the eco chef was much better than this. The coriander seeds aren't becoming a fine powder.. You cannot make Vada batter in it, the smallest jar lid is too tight, once you close it you can't open it. I don't use the smallest jar anymore. I would never buy a preethi mixie ever again.

Con: The handle can come out as the jar fits very tight. Within 2 months of usage one handle has come out. Else, it is a 5 star product.
