Pros:
1. Heat up quickly in less than a minute
2. Multiple heating mode which works perfectly
Cons:
1. Steam push button is missing
2. Water leakage
3. Throws steam automatically, but ineffective.
4. You put the iron on stand by and water will start leaking.
5. Using it as regular iron as it doesn't solve the pupose of steam iron.
6. Black layer of steam had made it even impossible to use it as regular iron as well

I ordered a Philips GC1011 1200-Watt Steam Iron with the following details on 18 October 2015 with Order #: 403-6167406-5329144Now within 2 weeks of delivery and after usage of 2-3 times, the iron has stopped working. The product is of Philips brand and expected to work lifetime and it is unfortunate to see this fault in less than 2 weeks. I have written an email to the seller and expecting a response but this review is absolutely for the product which is of poor quality.
Product and packing is good. Just disappointed with manufactured date is 2 years ...

It's an ok product. I haven't used the steam function though. It is a little light for ironing heavy stuff like jeans. I'd recommend buying it when it's on sale, you get it for about half the price and it's a bargain at that price point. :)

Best Deal at 849rs. I say if u use ro filtered water in it. So better life . It is better from GC1010 MODEL. I enjoy with this before 2 months.Good result. Also good item.
must use higher model of press

The press is good and working fine. I have another press of Philips which contains mug to fill press...that might be with higher model of Philips press. So before buying make sure that you go with higher model which is good. second thing do not let the press ON when not doing anything with it. The sole plate gets heated and may burn your clothes. So switch OFF when not using or changing/turning the side of clothes.
