Excellent cost efficient printer must buy. Previously I used 3835 printer color ink cartridge doesn't even print 20 pages but this one is good.
1. Installation & demo is available for this product
2. Yield more prints in cartridge type printers
Black & white yields 600-800 pages color yields 250-350 pages.
3.Printing quality is superb
4. Less sound & fast printing.
5. Scanning & coping is also excellent.
6. Light weight.
7. Easy to setup & maintain.
1. At the time of printing Printer Shaking too much than other printers.
2. Scanning header is very thin need very much attention to maintain from children's.
3. Mobile application printing doesn't have more editing options before printing.
4. Sometimes lags in WiFi connection.
WiFi connection 3.25/5
Must buy for home & small office usage.

One of the best printer .... with low cartage cost .
Super printer, but uses more ink than it should

Very good printer. I have been using this printer for 4 months now. Very easy set-up and can connect to all your dedvices through wi-fi. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because I had to replace my first black cartridge after printing about 400 odd pages versus the 1500 pages which the company promises. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase.
In Depth Review of HP InkAdvantage 4729
By Saiharsha Bon
This HP InkAdvantage 4729 is the best for home purpose.Delivery:First, delivery by amazon prime just took two days, so fast.It was secured with bubble wrap :)Build Quality:The design of the printer is premium with a blue accent. The printer is well built and everything is sturdy, except the paper output tray which could have been a little more sturdy, in my opinion.Display:The printer has a single segment display with 9 buttons. The display contains information like the number of copies, ink levels, etc..,Setup:The setup of the printer was quite simple with the software provided in the CD. I recommend downloading the software from HP's website since it downloads the latest version. The HP Printer software lets you customize every aspect of the printer like the colour quality, borderless options, and also helps maintenance like cartridge calibration. The wireless too works like a breeze which I tried from my Android smartphone.Paper Handling:This printer has good paper handling setup with the input tray at the back which holds upto 60 pages and the output tray at the front. Now, the Print Quality:The print quality with text is amazing, when I tried out with the best mode. The printing speed is also okay in the best mode.I recommend using normal mode for daily use since it too gives good quality prints with a fast print speed. The printer spits out the papers very quickly is draft mode. For colour prints, the printer is amazingly fast for an inkjet and gives good quality colour text prints. Full size borderless photo prints are also great.Yet to test out photo prints with photo paper.Scan and Copy:Scanning and Copying are also fast with this printer. Scanning can be done with the printer software or with the HP All in One App for Android and iOS. The copying speeds were also quite fast.Yield/Economy:This printer gives upto 1500 pages B/W and 750 pages colour on a single cartridge according to HP. The original cartridges and also quite inexpensive and easily affordable, just costing around Rs.585. This is very economical for home printing and gives good quality prints too.And TWO Black and TWO Tri colour cartridges were supplied along with the package.Verdict:If you want a printer for home printing and you take about 100-200 copies a month, this is the best inkjet printer in this price range. Great print quality, high yield cartridges and wireless, Go for it!Alternatives : If you want a printer with lower cost per copy for Small Business and Business Purpose, check out the Brother DCP T-500W, which is also an amazing printer. Don't go for Epson and HP Ink-Tank Printers since they have ink clogging and head problems if you don't use them regularly while Brother doesn't have those problems. But for home printing this printer is THE BEST.Looks and Build : 8.5/10Software and Setup : 9/10Black and White Print Quality and Speed : 8.5/10Colour Prints : 8.5/10Copying and Scanning : 8.5/10Overall : 8.6/10I will post an updated review after 2 months of usage. Hit the thanks button if it helps :)
Perfect for home use, or businesses with low workload.
TL;DR: If you're looking for an economical printer for your home, or small office (with low printing requirements), just buy this model.First of all, I use HP GT5820 (Ink-tank) printer at office, and I'm sure that a lot of people are wondering whether they should purchase the GT5820 or the 4729. So let's compare them:Economy: Prints on the GT5820 basically cost nothing. Because of the massive ink capacity and the low cost, the cost of ink in a print is negligible. For the GT5820, cost of paper per print tends to be greater than the ink. The 4729 is much more expensive than the 5820 when compared in absolute terms. However, cartridges of 4729 are rated at 1500 & 750 pages (Black & Colour, respectively), at 5% coverage. I received four cartridges (total) when I purchased from Amazon, so I got one "free" set. This is the largest (by far) cartridge capacity of any conventional printer available in India, and the cartridges are also some of the cheapest. You should also keep in mind that each cartridge comes with its own dedicated print-head. This is an important point so I'll speak more about this later.Print quality: The 4729 is significantly better at printing photos than the 5820. Photo prints on the 4729 are crisp, detailed, and the colour is accurate, whereas photo prints on the 5820 appear dull by comparison. However, the worst part of printing photos on the 5820 was that the print output was extremely prone to smudging (on glossy paper). Something about the inks on the 5820 cause them not to be dry once they're out of the printer - touching the page would lead to smudging and transfer of ink to your fingertips. Note that I used identical Kodak photo papers to test this on the 4729 and the conventional cartridge model exhibited zero smudging - the print was dry as soon as the paper left the printer. However, the 5820 is excellent at printing text and business graphics on MATTE paper. This property of the 5820 leads me to conclude that it is suitable mainly for business use, where you're likely going to use it to print on matte paper, and mostly for business graphics. where smudging like this will not occur.Maintenance: On the 4729, when you change a cartridge, you're changing one of the most important components of the printer - the print-head, so if a print-head gets clogged, you can just buy a new cartridge for Rs. 600-800 and get "as-good-as-new" performance. Clogged print-heads are one of the most common issues Inkjet printers face - and it happens when a printer is left unused for long periods of time - something that can happen in a home / small office. The 5820, on the other hand, has a fixed print-head which will require servicing if such an issue occurs. I couldn't find the cost replacement print head for the GT5820 online. If you print every day, then this will probably not be an issue for you on either printer. This was a key decider for me because I expect that my home printer will get used once a week at most.Ease of use: Both the 4729 and 5820 have nearly identical features. Both have wireless functionality that was easy to set up and use (SEE UPDATE BELOW), and work reliably (at least on Windows - OSX can be a bit iffy, but still doable). Scanner units appear to be identical, and work with native scanning apps over wireless. So finally, let's do a round-up:4729+ Pro: Excellent print quality on matte and glossy papers.+ Pro: Cheap cartridges with yield that is much higher than all competition.+ Pro: Cartridges are easily replaced, and transportation / moving of printer is easy.- Con: Much more expensive for large workloads, compared to GT5820.5820+ Pro: Inks cost basically nothing per print. You cannot get cheaper prints than this.+ Pro: Excellent print quality on MATTE papers for text and business graphics.- Con: Terrible smudging issue on image prints on glossy paper (at max quality setting). Unsuitable for printing photos. So I'd say that for business use, you should get the 5820, and for home use, the 4729. I've looked at pretty much every other printer available on the market and these two appear to be the best options.UPDATE: I've taken a star off because of unreliable wireless connectivity. Basically, once you've set up the wireless connection, there's no guarantee that the printer will continue to work reliably. On Windows, it's pretty much necessary to install the official drivers before setting up the printer. On a Windows laptop, I had to delete the printer configuration and allow Windows to set it up again on its own to get it to work properly. So yeah, I guess the wireless feature on printers is hit or miss. If you plan to use this printer with multiple devices via wireless, your experience can be iffy.
Perfect for Home printing...
By Mahesh K.on
Meets all the requirements of a home printer and scanner. Very nice and innovative design. Wifi enabled solved many of the problems of taking the printer near to the PC. However, sometimes it behaves weird and refuses to connect !!! Print quality is good. Scanner is very basic . Should serve well for small office as well.
Well priced home printer
Gem of a product. I got the product yesterday and my initial impressions are amazing. Setting up the printer for first time use is very simple. WiFi connectivity is a life saver , since I prefer using my mobile more often. The print quality is amazing as well. One thing of concern is the slow speed of printing, but speed is not something of great importance to me in a printer.Overall, totally impressed with the product and it's pricing. Not to mention the free cartridges in box. The product flaunts a beautiful look too. Just go for it. It's amazing
