Build quality is very good and also covers your entire ear without pain or discomfort. Audio quality is also Very good. Expect the quality of wired Head phones from 6-7 K range. One major drawback though (which can be corrected by adjusting volume) is hissing sound in the background at low audio levels and at start and stop of audio. Very irritating for me but corrected it by decreasing headset's volume to half and increasing source volume to full. Now I don't find this problem at low volume levels but at start and end of tracks there is some static sound heard just like in walkie talkies but for just a fraction of a second. Docking one star due to this problem.

I bought them in 2010 (not from flipkart) when they were of 11K.. Since then I use them for gaming & movies a lot (avg 2-3 hrs daily). They were a bit tight initially on my extra large size head, but in 15-20 days they got comfortable. Now I use them for 4-5 hrs at stretch with no discomfort.. Coming to sound, they are amazingly sounding headphones with punchy bass with crisp mids & highs. I have sincerely found it better or at par than any other headphones available in market today.. Be it Bose or Seinnheiser higher range. Range is around 50-70 metres with clear sight of transmitter & decreases suddenly when walls come in between to 5-10 metres. It follows "all or none law" if it gives, it gives absolutely clear sound & if signals go weak, it stops. If u listen to them in complete silence, there is dull humm in background- which gives a sense of getting on & off between sounds alternating with quite zones - but it never compromise on sound quality. Batteries tend to go weak after regular use of 2 years & sound quality suffers - so I recommend to replace after 2 years. Another thing I would like to mention you have to use ONLY 600 mAh 1.2 Volts rechargable AAA batteries - I have used higher mAh batteries thinking they would work better & longer, but to my surprise, they dont get charged while docking these headphones - it even doesnt entertain 800 mAh one- maybe they are heavier for it to charge.. So I had to buy another 600 mAh batteries to work with it. Now I am so addicted to them - heavenly sound quality with full freedom from being wired that I hardly use my regular speakers. If you are looking for a headphone under 20K, you must blindly dive for it.. I promise you wont be dissappointed.. And thanks to RS-170, I play games & enjoy movies at late nights while my wife sleeps peacefully.. ;)))
