Bought these because they were the newest version of the CX series, for 2750 on flipkart.
Pros :
1. Very good looking, especially red and black version.
2. Great build quality
3. Cables absolutely do not tangle
4. Quite comfortable (related to con 2)
Cons :
1. Bass response disappointing. Even after pumping up bass on equalizer, it's just about adequate. Not for electronic or hip-hop music.
2.Tend to fall out of my ears more easily than average in-ears, does not fit very tight.
3. The supplied hard case is a joke. Neither small nor easy to use. A pouch would make more sense.
I might suggest looking at the ath ckx7 or the ath cks55x for better value at a similar price.

Good Earphones with Punch'y Bass and Superb Clarity...
Overall build quality and Packing is top notch...
I would have preferred a small Cloth bag instead off the plastic case it came with.
This is very Comfortable to use and provides good sealing in your ear..
Coming to the sound -
High's - Good Clarity and everything sounds clear...
Mid's - could have been a bit more pronounced...
In some reviews i read that, bass is overpowered and this is for bass heads...
Believe me ... I am a bass head. (for ref.. ask my neighbors )... :) :) and i didn't feel this as an overpowered bass but it doesn't mean it lack's. Everything is balanced. (but vocals isn't)..
I used to change my player EQ for every Earphone i used, for this i don't coz it got everything to my taste out of box.
For everyday use with my mobile this is great.
Tangle free cable and low cable noise make this a gud Earphones for those who travel.
Buy this Earphones if u prefer a Balanced and Punchy Output without sacrificing High notes and if u don't like to mess with your device EQ for Balancing..
If you need more Bass outta this and If you have a good DAC, crank up ur EQ at 40hz then u won't be disappointed ...
Don't buy anything after reading reviews (even mine ;) because at the end the satisfaction we get from a product depends on our Taste's and Interest...

1: Good build quality,
2: noise cancellation isn't good enough, 3:powerful sound quality,
4:lacks balance between bass and treble. (Treble over powered)
5: bass feels weak.
6: wire noises are disturbing. ( The noices produced when you touch the wires, little vibrations , which gets amplified)
7: unrealistic carry case . ( Unless you have time for that shit , to pack it in everytime .)
8: not tangle free.
9: soft ear buds ( a good thing)
10 : good for pc gaming and watching movies, wouldn't recommend it for listening music.
If you love bass , then you should buy a sony or brainwavz earphone.
