I was looking a good noise cancellation headphones and was apprehensive to spend over 20k(on the Bose QC25). Did a bit of research and read reviews on Bose, Sennheiser, Plantronics, Sony, Audio Technica. Most of the audio blogs have covered noise cancellation shoot outs. This particular head phone, though not the best in the class, does its job well. Please go through detailed reviews, there's also one in amazon.com where a guy has covered all major headphone brands. You cannot compare this to the comfort of QC25 but its not so bad either. Price wise its close to 10k lesser, so there's a major difference. Audio and material quality is excellent, accessories provided are not much, but there's an air plane audio plug given too, which is sweet! My main purpose was to use this during air travel, yet to test it out(will do so next week and update). Have tested it in fairly noisy surroundings and the noise cancellation modes does work well.Update: Tested it during a plane journey of over 8hrs and it works beautifully. Cancels external sound completely and does not tire your ears(wearing continuously for long time is not advisable though).

The headphones are good, overall sound-quality is average and the noise-cancelling works, there noise cancelling is just average (not that great as Bose QC25). If your a audiophile like me I would recommend the 'Audio-Technica ATH-M70x', it around the same price and the audio sound great. If your buying a product for the noise cancelling then I would recommend 'Bose QC25'
