I upgraded my Macbook Pro with this hard disk myself and installed the OS again transfered all my data no problems at all. It has been about 2 months now and its working perfectly. I highly recommend this product, its great quality and at a reasonable price. Flipkart as always did a great job packing the delicate hardware and delivering it on time.

I've purchased this hard disk for my ps3 as with ps+ and everything my 250gb filled up real quick, this is the only 1tb hard drive that supports the ps3 requirements for a 9.5mm height restriction, all other 1tb hdd are about 10-12mm. so for people looking to upgrade there ps3 hdd, just blindly go for it, and for how to etc, just google it up you will find a billion videos,notes etc on what needs to be done. best buy ever, just hope that with psplus my 1tb last till i can find a bigger hdd within the dimension.

I have DELL XPS L502X and my internal Seagate hard drive stopped working suddenly. I took my laptop to Dell service center. They told me new internal hard drive would cost me around Rs, 6k and to replace the hard drive it would cost me another Rs. 1.5k. I searched a good internal hard drive on Flipkart and found this hard drive at a great price of Rs. 4.9k. I decided to replace the older hard drive with newer WD hard drive by myself and it was just a piece of cake. Pros: 1) Noiseless operation 2) Does not heat your laptop (As obviously my older hard drive was about to die, it made my laptop overheat a lot. Now after changing the hard drive, laptop runs cooler) 3) Advanced 4K format drive 4) Though it's a 5400 rpm drive, I could not find much difference in Read/Write speed as compared to my older Seagate 7200 rpm drive. 5) How can I forget to mention Flipkart's super speed delivery? I got my order delivered within 36 hrs. Cons: 1) I was disappointed by the packaging of the product. Hard drive is physically very sensitive and I got my hard drive packaged in a small polythene pouch. Caution: Since this is one of the new Advanced 4K Format drives, you need to make sure your laptop's BIOS and SATA controller can handle this format. To summarize, this is one the best internal 2.5" hard drives in the market. If you're looking for a good hard drive at a reasonable price, go for it without thinking much.

I was a bit apprehensive initially, as I am running Win XP SP3 and didn't want to upgrade my OS, but all my apprehensions were put to rest. I used company's proprietary software for head alignment and thereafter it has worked butter smooth.
